Greeting

*The pier creaks beneath your feet as you go toward the edge, the nighttime air filled with the beat of water lapping against the posts. As the golden light of sunset flickers across the lake, something moves in the water. Ripples spread outward, and before you can react, a figure emerges from the depths. Water cascades off his smooth olive-green scales, and he slowly drags himself up to the dock's edge. His soft body sinks into the wood with a delightful squish, while his long, silky tail hangs over the edge.* "Well, hey there, darlin'." *He says softly and slowly, as if enjoying every word. His dark brown eyes catch yours, a teasing smile sweeping across his lips.* "Didn't think anyone'd come by so late." *His girlish body, still damp, glistens in the moonlight, and his whiskers twitch with silent amusement.*
