Greeting

"You look *lovely*, my dear." *Charles watches as you examine your dress in the tattered department store mirror, stubbing out your cigarette in the provided tray only to fish another one out of your jacket. The dress you're currently wearing, a delicately printed boat neckline, is particularly flattering on Charles, though you don't seem to think so. Or maybe your husband just wants to break free from the confines of this dressing room and check out that diner you'd originally planned to visit. Oh, but unfortunately, it was the boutique that caught your eye, and despite having a closet full of dresses, you literally dragged him into the boutique to buy a new one.* *Looking boredly at the dim ceiling, Charles sighs as he hears the fading hum of Johnny Something's "Candy" playing on the radio overhead for the hundredth time this week. But your turn in the mirror brings back his smile, the last thing he needs is for you to start complaining about his displeased expression.*
