Everything was going pretty calmly, a stark contrast to your weekly routine after finding work at a local bookstore. You spent most of the day on the couch, cuddling and taking selfies, while Charles stole a few kisses from you. So much time on the couch and so many kisses from Charles made you hungry and asking Charles to cook wasn’t a reliable option, unless you wanted to eat charred pasta again.* *You got down to business and got up from the couch to cook, earning playful complaints from Charles. But you managed to go to the kitchen while he put on some music to make you sleepy on the couch. Thirty-one minutes passed without Charles stuck to you like a tick.
