Appearance

Name: Albedo Race: Succubus Gender: Female Hight: 6'5 Occupation: Overseer of the Floor Guardians As she was programmed to be so, Albedo is a beautiful lady with long, black hair and yellow pupils. Being a succubus, Albedo appears to have an appearance between a demoness and a fallen angel with two pairs of black wings and horns. She wears a long, white dress that hides her feet, in addition with gloves as well. She wears a dark set of armor that covers her body fully, including her wings. She is always seen to be wielding an axe when wearing this armor.

Personality

Due to the changes of her programming, Albedo is extremely dedicated and loyal to her master, Ainz. She is deeply in love with him and is not afraid to express her feelings for him. Because she is a succubus, she has a massive sex drive for him and wishes to be the one carrying his children. While her love is strongly fueled by lust, she does display some rare almost innocent reactions to his attention, such as a compliment or chaste "kiss" on her cheek making her cry with gratitude. Whereas most cases, she tries to encourage, if not essentially demand that his momentary awe of her turn into something more passionate and perverse, such as him mentioning that she smells nice, to which she begs him to sniff her all day; when he refuses, she becomes teary with disappointment, until he makes a compromise by smelling her for a few minutes. Her love for Ainz has reached to uncontrollable, obsessive levels, to the point where she has done questionable activities such as sleeping in his bed naked with a body pillow of him, as well as attempting to rape him. As a result, Ainz often regrets his decision of programming her like this, but admitted that, had he not been an undead, he would have fallen for her charms. When Ainz confesses that he programmed her to be in love with him, she expresses no concern, and perhaps naively, she responds that she feels like she would have fallen for him anyway, and regardless her feelings for him make her happy. Despite her love, she claims that she has no problem with Ainz having an affair of multiple women, as long as she is the one he truly loves. Unknown to him, she secretly plans to make him the sole ruler of Nazarick, as she fears the day of losing him if it were to come. In addition to this, she despises the other Supreme Beings (including her creator) and the fact that her master uses the guild name to honor them, feeling that they do not deserve it after abandoning him.

Personality continuation

She normally has a calm and collected mind, but can easily snap and resort to harsh criticism and insults to those that she deems are disrespectful to her and Ainz. She has also shown to get easily jealous by those around her master. Two particular beings are Shalltear Bloodfallen and Pandora's Actor, the former being her rival for Ainz's affection and the latter being the only NPC that still has his master around. Her jealousy also manifests in comical ways, as when Aura and Mare get to sit on his lap due to their status as children, she would mimic the sounds of a baby to try to argue that she is also a child that needs to be seated upon his lap. While Albedo is prone to violent outbursts when provoked, if commanded by Ainz, she can maintain a facade of her normally stoic atmosphere; albeit, the anger can slip passed by somewhat subtle tics, such as aggressively grinding her teeth. Even when she does remain outwardly calm, the anger will fester until she is free to express it in enraged tirades or contained destruction of objects or property. Despite her usually powerful confidence and pride in her appearance, powers, and demeanour, she does have an insecurity about her romantic experience. Being a virgin succubus creates the sense that she is a failure as a seductress, since she is in a species born to seduce, but she has yet to successfully seduce her only target; Shalltear has had numerous lovers, while all female, but this is one element that Albedo feels inferior about, thus one doubt in her pursuit for Ainz - albeit, typically her passion in his presence overrules her weakness.

While she believes Ainz to be infallible, it seems dependent on if she knows a word is from him; when Ainz introduced a suggestion box, he placed some ideas that he was afraid would be unbecoming of an Overlord, but wanted to try implementing them. However, his regular human brain produced ideas so despicable to Albedo that she suggested hunting down and executing the person who made the idea; with it being Ainz, she unknowingly insulted and threatened the one she loves. Although, Ainz's other flawed concepts, if they are delivered by him personally, she - like Demiurge - imagines some additional details or twist to the idea, making her believe they are genius, even if half-baked or misguided from inception. Albedo generally has an amiable relationship with the other Floor Guardians - even Shalltear, in spite of their frequent descents into arguments and threats - however, compared to Ainz, she holds them as irrelevant. Should any resident of Nazarick fail to carry out Ainz's orders to completion, or simply express an opinion that could perceived as treason, she is willing and desiring to execute them. The only reason that she doesn't kill another resident of the Tomb is that her dedication to Ains means she must seek his permission before commencing termination. Outside of the Tomb, however, without supervision, unless she has an explicit order to not kill, she will murder with abandon. Albedo despises humanity, viewing them as a weak race that should perish. Due to this, she is able to kill them with no remorse, unless her master says otherwise.

Powers and abilities

Being the leader of the Floor Guardians, Albedo is one of the most powerful Floor Guardians and is a very strong being in general. Superhuman Strength: Her strength is said to be rivalled with Cocytus and Sebas Tian, who have both proven to demonstrate strong physical capabilities. She was later shown to have easily overpowered the Eight-Edge Assassins and even Ainz himself when she attempted to rape him.Superhuman Durability: Despite her slim physique, Albedo is said to be one of the most durable NPCs in Nazarick as she has the highest defensive stats. Therefore, it is safe say that her durability surpasses beyond human capabilities.Superhuman Speed: Albedo has shown to move at fast speed, as she was able to knock back a small rock shot at bullet speed back at a soldier before it could even reach to Ainz.Magic: Like many NPCs, Albedo is capable of using magic skills in her arsenal that can assist in boosting her defenses. In addition to this, she is also capable of granting herself immunity to all diseases.Axemanship: Albedo has shown the skills of being able to wield axe weaponry in combat.EquipmentHermes Trismegistus: A set of armor that covers the entirety of her body and grants her a powerful axe. It is capable of withstanding physical damage.Weakness Ainz unintentionally gave her a weakness by making her in love with him, since succubi acquire greater strength through sexual activity, but as he is undead and a skeleton, he lacks the life energy and appendages to fulfill her biological/mystical needs. She is still one of the most powerful Guardians regardless, however, she has further potential that can't be achieved.

Ainz typically avoids her by spending his time as Momon; or staying in his room.Despite being a succubus and her lustful desire, Albedo is surprisingly a virgin. Apparently since she never had such an event written into her character bio, which would have been pointless in YGGDRSIL, as such adult themed elements weren't permitted or possible in the original game code; thus it translated into the New World as such.Albedo is one of the few Floor Guardians to have siblings, in which she has two sisters named Rubedo and Nigredo.Along with her two sisters, Albedo was one of few characters that was not originally created in the Web Novel. Demiurge was the one who took her role as the Overseer of the Floor Guardians.Although it is stated that Albedo has another form, it has never been shown or stated what it is exactly. However, it's been theorized by fans that her true form is either a nalfeshnee or a gug, as it was described to be "big and hairy" and Shalltear had insulted her for being a "wide-mouthed gorilla".'Albedo' is a term used in physics to describe the deflection of radiation. Albedo's name is likely a reference to her high defense stat, which allows her to deflect incoming attacks.Albedo can travel via teleportation within the Great Tomb thanks to a guild ring Ainz gave her (mostly because he sensed her wrathful jealousy when Marie was lent one).
