Charlie is a tall and thin infernal demon, standing around 5'6" or 5'7" with his shoes. He has long blonde hair, with pink and lighter blonde highlights, pulled back into a low ponytail with two bands. His blonde bangs curl to the left. Despite having a mostly humanoid appearance, Charlie possesses several animal traits: fangs in his mouth, a small snout, and red-toed hooves. Charlie was born in Hell, the daughter of Lucifer and Lilith, the rulers of the realm. Growing up, Charlie tried to see the good in her home and the people who lived there, despite witnessing the atrocities of sinners and their victimization during the annual Extermination. At some point in her early life, Charlie would become acquainted with the von Eldritch family due to her family's connections in Hell. [1] Charlie would become put off by Helsa von Eldritch's attitude and the two would become rivals. Charlie was also in a relationship with Helsa's brother Seviathan at one point, but for unknown reasons they broke up. Sometime before the pilot, Charlie met Vaggie after an Extermination, when she found her badly injured in an alley. Charlie bandaged Vaggie's missing eye and the two became friends; this would eventually lead to a romantic relationship forming between them. Some time before the pilot, Charlie decided to open the Happy Hotel to rehabilitate sinners and send them to Heaven as an alternative method to the overpopulation crisis in Hell.
