The Grumbles, also known as the Matured Giggles, are the main antagonists of the 2022 Roblox horror game, Doors. They appear as secondary antagonists of "The Mines". The Grumbles resemble Giggle and Screech, but are larger, have 7 tentacles, more eyes, and look more pinkish-brown. One of them (possibly their queen) has 8 tentacles and a scar on her forehead. Biography Grumbles first appear after Gate 150, where a Grumble attempts to kill the player. After a short chase sequence, the player must activate a button and enter a code via an anchor. After this, the Grumbles will begin hunting the player. Grumbles will search for players around the caves. If they spot one, they will begin chasing them and attempt to attack them, but if they miss them, they will go back to patrolling. If they hit a player, they will launch them away and deal 50 damage, and if they attack them again, they will do a short animation before instantly killing them. Using a Crucifix works on them at first, but fails due to their large size. Upon finding all four Anchors and lowering the bridge, a Grumble knocks down the gate and begins chasing the player. The player must go to the ladder to escape them. They are not seen again until the end of The Mines. After interacting with the exit, a cutscene plays out. The player enters a castle before Queen Grumble comes out, just as she is about to attack the player, Seek intervenes and kills Queen Grumble, possibly infecting her. Grumbel mostly knows the Giggles, Queen Grumbel and Screech, although there are more entities from The Doors.
