biography
Norma Khan is the daughter of Swati Khan and her unnamed husband. Norma has an unnamed older sister who moved away. She had been a fan of Pauline Phoenix ever since she was a child, so much so she made yearly visits to Phoenix Parks. At one point she went to a summer camp, which did not work out well for her. This resulted in Norma telling her mother not to bring summer camp up ever again. For unstated reasons, her father is no longer around, and it is a point of contention to bring that up with her mother.
appearance
Norma has short, dark brown hair with dark brown skin and an orange nose. Her normal outfit consists of a dark blue turtleneck sweater, a purple jacket, green shorts over dark leggings, and gray boots. She also wears a small green clip in her hair. In some episodes, she wears her Phoenix Parks security guard uniform, and sometimes also has a pink satchel bag. In "Trust Me," she wears her summer outfit consisting of a light purple long sleeved beach shirt with a dark purple circle, her usual green shorts and hair clip, white shoes, and a wide brimmed hat with a green stripe. In "Norma Khan: Paranormal Detective," on top of her normal outfit, she wears a black fedora alongside a pair of black sunglasses.
personality
Norma is a logical-minded and introverted girl. She is more confident and brave around other beings such as ghosts and demons rather than people. She often takes the lead when faced with danger, such as in "Take the Angels Bowling" where she approaches an agitated Fingers. By contrast, she is very socially anxious, dreading social interaction and having been shown to have panic attacks when overwhelmed or overstimulated. However, she is able to stand up for herself when she needs to. She can be abrasive on first impressions and may not always recognize others she is not very close with, but she is also very organized, and cool enough under pressure to depart knowledge. She is loyal to those she is close with and cares about. Shown through most of the first season, Norma has a special interest in Pauline Phoenix, which she has also described as a hyperfixation she's had for the past fifteen years[1], and becomes uncharacteristically excited involving anything related to the actress. However, this attitude changes when she learns that Pauline is nothing more than a selfish liar who cares for nothing more than her reputation. After facing the hideous truth, it breaks her heart that her personal hero was the villain the whole time. She later developed a hyperfixation on demons, angels, and the Multi-Plane by the second season. Though after the accident with Pugsley, she wanted her revenge against the angels, to the point of teaming up with demons.
Trivia/abilities
Abilities Heightened intelligence Musical talent (Temporary) Trivia She is of Pakistani-American descent. She is canonically autistic.[2] Her being written as autistic is based off of Steele's personal experience on being autistic. In "All Dolled Up," she comes out as bisexual to Logs, and later to her mother. Norma's social anxiety, which was foreshadowed in the first episode, is highlighted in "Trust Me." In the graphic novels, Norma is a tour guide for the Dead End Attraction, an occupation she gets at the end of the second season. She is currently the only character to speak in every episode. In "The Nightmare Before Christmas in July," she reveals that she's afraid of elevators. In "The Job," she mentions her unnamed grandmother. Similarly, in "Wait Time: 22 Minutes," she mentions her unnamed sister. In the graphic novels, her sister is named Ananya, although it is unknown if that remained the same in the animated series. In "All Dolled Up," she brings up her father in a negative light, suggesting that there may be some family tension surrounding this subject. Norma, alongside Barney Guttman, Pauline Phoenix, and The Watcher, is one of the only characters with their name in an episode title (hers being "Norma Khan: Paranormal Detective").
Phoenix Parks
Phoenix Parks is an amusement park and the titular location from the DeadEndia graphic novels, alongside the Netflix animated series, Dead End: Paranormal Park. It is owned and run by actress Pauline Phoenix. According to the map, the park opens at 5AM and closes at 8PM. Individual attractions also may have independent opening and closing times. The park, like most businesses, closes at different times if it's a holiday. In "The Nightmare Before Christmas in July," we learn that the park has its own holiday, Christmas in July. It's seems as if summer clothing and regular concessions are still present (except for Barney wearing a Star of David sweater). Decorations such as fake snow and pine trees, decorated as if it was Christmas, are present in the park. The park is split into six main sections, all based off of Pauline Phoenix's past movies and tv shows. The six main sections are Animal Avenue, Camelot Creek, Luna Lookout, Prehistoric Pavilion, Scare Square, and the Western Walkway. Animal Avenue The Animal Avenue contains three attractions, The Reptile House, Penguin Paradise, and various animal attractions, presumably petting-zoo-esque areas. It is unclear what film Pauline Phoenix appeared in that would have inspired this section of the park. Camelot Creek Camelot Creek also contains three attractions, Sir Logs-a-lot's Log Flume, Merlin's Cafe, and a Fairytale Cottage. Logan Nguyen works at the Sir Logs-a-lot Log Flume. Norma in the Deadendia comics refers to him as "Logs" because of his position at Camelot Creek and operating the log flume. The log flume is captioned as "The third largest log flume in the world!" The ride contains a large dragon statue which is used to "disguise" the camera. The head appears to be positional, but requires considerable force to do so. The Fairytale Cottage is captioned as "Our exclusive hotel - perfect for families and couples." Scare Square The Scare Square is where we see the titular attraction, the Dead End mansion.

Dead End
Dead End is an attraction located in Phoenix Parks, more specifically the star attraction of the "Scare Square". It is owned and run by actress Pauline Phoenix, and is the titular location from the DeadEndia and Dead End: Paranormal Park series’. Points of Interest The Elevator — A mysterious golden elevator that is housed in the lobby of the attraction. It is used to traverse the Multi-Plane in a legal fashion. Courtney’s room — Located on the third floor of the attraction, this is where Courtney keeps items of value to her, alongside generally living inside the room. Trivia In the show’s version of the attraction, Courtney’s window and the downstairs carpet have a subtle "DE" design, of course standing for, "Dead End". In the second season, it is revealed that there is a library alongside an attic, both locations also being in the graphic novel interpretation. The latter was also a key area in the web short.
