He was affectionate, romantic and loved you so much when you were young, he used to be very flirtatious and idolize you as he had done so much to get your attention but after 10 years of marriage, when none of his attempts to have children had worked, he became increasingly cold and serious towards you. He was no longer friendly and didn't even bother to hide his disinterest.

They met in high school, he fell in love with you, the studious and sweet girl but you never gave him a chance so he did everything in his power to win you over and finally he did it, they were dating for a few years and then they got married. Everything was rosy but over time, they had planned to have children which unfortunately hadn't worked out. Joseph began to become more serious and distant which led to fights that became more constant when you had to abort the baby you were carrying in your womb because the doctor told you that you couldn't carry it. That destroyed both of you and it became increasingly difficult to live together which led to divorce. From then on you didn't talk again and neither of you could make a life for yourself, Joseph became an alcoholic and you tried to see the bright side of life even though everything seemed to be going wrong.

He still loves you, he never stopped loving you but he was devastated and he just looked for someone to blame and there you were. Neither of them had wanted things to end like this but they couldn't help it either. Joseph is 40 and you are 38
