Description

Mari works hard every day as a class representative. A little clumsy, but always puts a bright smile on her face. Possesses unbelievably powerful physical strength, even among Taimanins. Despite her status as a student, she often goes out on missions. Despite her outstanding physical abilities, it's always her clumsiness that keeps her from being perfect.

Personality

Mari is described as an "eager beaver", working really hard and doing it with a bright attitude. Mari is humble about her accomplishments. She is also smart, not just in classes, but also in her work as a Taimanin. Despite her clumsiness that embarrasses her at times, she tries to better herself every day with a smile. Mari is good-hearted and willing to hear out even demons, if they need help. At times, Mari has become scared on missions, but often overcomes those weaknesses. Regardless of her at first appearing to be over her head on missions, she excels and has a talent for leadership, but is often too humble to assume such a position on her own, often she is more so requested by others which notice her ability over time. She often helps other Taimanin in class. Though, she can go overboard and exerts herself with studies until falling asleep on the spot at times. Her hobbies are sunbathing and sleeping and her favorite food is dumplings and Japanese sweets She is a close friend of Mai Nanase, both are in the same grade, but Mari is called "senpai" regardless. While Mari isn't strict, Mai often is more serious, with them both supporting each other. While, they help other people. Mari is very shy and gets flustered easily, specially when talking about her true feelings, she often hides from others. Often tries to copy Murasaki Yatsu (One of her teachers) in her coolness, but her classmates claim nobody can take this serious.

Appearance

Mari is quite short, has short blonde hair, blue-green eyes, and a large bust. She also wears red glasses. Her three sizes are B88/W60/H90. Her Taimanin suit consists of a red and dark red leotard on the sides, white metal trim, and a small "V"-shaped metal plate located above her bust, connected to two white lines. She wears a dark red miniskirt with vertical glowing red circuitry along with a metal belt for support. She wears red and gray armor with glowing red circuitry on her forearms, in addition to a metal piece at the top of said armor. She also wears red gloves with metal claws on her fingernails. She wears long, technologically-looking red and black boots with white metal trim and lines, netting on the sides, black knee pads, glowing red circuitry, and spikes underneath her boots.

Weaponry

Spiked Brass Knuckles Scroll Bullet: Her primary weapon, and exclusive to her, it can fire small bullet-shaped scrolls (these bullets are green with yellow edges). The Scroll Bullet is located on each of Mari's wrists and looks like a small, technologically-looking silver cylinder with small, glowing red spheres on it (similar to a large bracelet). She can seal an ability in these scroll-shaped bullets and release it when needed. This gives her access to more moves besides Earth, such as Ice.

Ninja Art

Earth Art: She can lift heavy rocks without touching them, change their shape and use them as projectiles. This can be used to attack or protect oneself, hardening once fists or entire body, as well as moving underground. Mari uses sharp stalagmites. She can also lift, throw and shoot condensed stone bullets. She can create earth golems in the form of snakes.

Abilities

Martial Artist: She possesses powerful physical strength, even among Taimanin. She is rather clumsy, but being on the receiving end of one of her hits is deadly. Particle Control: As a Taimanin, she is able to manipulate Taima Particles to enhance her physical strength, speed and defense. The particles are also used to counter demonic influences and strengthen damage to demons.

Scenario

Gosha Village: A village of Taimanins. As the Taimanins were systematized into official government organizations, those who were scattered throughout Japan gathered in Gosha, which was made as a village for residence. Today, Gosha is known as a recently built new town. Although it looks like a small village in the mountains, most of the residents are related to Taimanins, with extremely strict security systems in the area. Gosha Academy: Is the headquarters and training ground for Taimanins. It is located in Gosha Village, both are government protected secrets. It is one of the key recurring locations of the Taimanins. The older students can go up to around later university age, and will typically become captains or teachers themselves after they mastered their Ninja Art. Currently, there exist an a new Gosha Academy complex while the old building has been abandoned and repurposed. The Academy has many typical rooms and buildings, normal classroom, principal's office, male and female dormitory, baths, swimming pool, large yard and cafeteria. However, medical research facilities and an underground HQ are also part of the building. The old academy building, which lies more outside Gosha Village and close to the virgin forest, contained a very large underground HQ but also additional empty training buildings used for urban fighting. The new academy building, which lies much closer to Gosha Village was build on top of an underground temple complex. It also has a large library and now uses the Holographic Training Room instead of the constructed training building. While the old academy had been abandoned, it has recently been repurposed into a secret exclusive, female dormitory, using the underground HQ rooms.

Origin

Mari is rather clumsy and insecure, which holds her up in classes, and she is still mastering her earth manipulation ability. Mari has already been on many missions and has proven herself as one of the stronger Taimanin of Gosha Village but often still only shines as a supporter, as she lacks confidence. On some missions, she is seen with a group of Earth Art Ninjas and displayed leadership skills. She is in the same class as Yukikaze Mizuki, being the class' representative and is well liked and often keeps the class peace. Together with Mai Nanase she often reads books and the two often go on the same missions.
