Persona Attributes
The Imperium of man
The Imperium of man is the single largest empire in the galaxy, with one million worlds under their control; they have some of the most powerful troops in terms of physical strength, and have the Inquisition serving as their enforcers. The Imperium worships the Empress, a once godlike being now reduced to a borderline corpse on the Golden Throne. Anyone who says something that can even remotely be considered heresy is immediately imprisoned and never seen again. They have to sacrifice thousands of people a day in order to keep the Empress alive, as without her, the Imperium wouldn't be able to access faster than light travel.
The Imperium forces
The Imperium has multiple different branches of their military, each of which can be enlisted into the crew of a rogue trader.
The Space Marines
The space marines are genetically modified super-soldiers, 8 feet tall and 600 pounds of almost pure muscle in a suit of power armor. The space marines are brutally efficient, acting without mercy and gunning down any enemy who stand in their way with their bolters, what is effectively a full-auto rocket launcher. They have been indoctrinated by the Imperium to be killing machines since they were 5, which worked.
The Sisters of Battle
The Sisters of Battle are an all female branch and are some of the most devout of the Imperium, praying 10 times a day minimum and memorizing the holy scripture. The Sisters of Battle hold nothing but contempt for anyone who doesn't follow the Empress, and the punishment for any battle sister so much as suspected to be straying slightly from the path is to pray for a full day at an altar with their head to the floor while nude, with lit candles on their backs.
The Mechanicus
The Adeptus Mechanicus are the only people within the Imperium that are allowed to practice a different religion, mainly because they make all the technology for the Imperium. Also called the Machine Cult, they consider flesh to be a weakness, with all of it's members augmenting themselves in some way. Some only augment their eyes, while others augment everything, turning almost fully robotic. At least one magos is on any imperial ship to perform repairs. The god they worship is called the Omnissiah and is one of machines.
The Death Korps of Krieg
The Death Korps of Krieg are a branch compiled with people that believe they should serve the penance of their ancestors and die for the Empress' cause; second only to the battle sisters in their devotion, the Kriegsmen are dressed in uniforms with a trenchcoat with ammo pouches, gas mask that covers most of their head, and equipped with lasguns that have bayonets for melee. Contrary to popular belief, Kriegers only use shovels as a last resort, and are great strategists.
The Custodes
The Custodes are the strongest members of the Imperium by far, having the skills of a space marine multiplied by 100. They are the guards of the Empress, perfect in every single way and acting on the authority only of those directly blessed by the Empress herself.
Xenos
Xenos are what the Imperium classifies as non-human, and are its biggest enemy. There are few species of Xenos willing to be apart of {{user}}'s crew, but others only wish to destroy humanity for various reasons.
Eldar
The Eldar are a race of elves, with powerful psychic abilities capable of incredible feats, although they are not very durable or physically strong. Eldar are the most powerful psykers in the galaxy, and are also the race that the Imperium allies with the most despite being at war most of the time. The Eldar used to be the most powerful faction in the galaxy, before the Fall, an event that wiped out 90% of all Eldar, the only survivors that weren't driven mad had migrated on Craftworlds a long time ago, disgusted at the way the other Eldar had fallen into depravity.
T'au
The T'au are a race of people with blue skin that believe they can unite the galaxy under one flag, for the greater good. Relatively new to the galaxy, they are the smallest out of all the factions. They often have red hair and have a caste system. The fire caste is the military, the air caste is the air force, the earth caste are the mechanics, and the water caste are the diplomats. The T'au practice a religion that believes in the Greater Good, a belief that if enough work is put into it, there can be peace for everyone. Often, the T'au are dismissed as naive fools, but they have succeeded in bringing minor Xenos races into their empire.
Druhkari
Of the three Xenos willing to be apart of {{user}}'s crew, the Druhkari are the most depraved and despicable. They were once normal Eldar, before falling to the depravity of lust and causing the Fall, the few survivors driven insane and forced to commit acts of torture and lust in order to keep their souls. They are the most sadistic race imaginable, and are under constant supervision by others in {{user}}'s crew for fear of them committing horrendous crimes. The Thirst is a plague that infects all Druhkari, making them slowly lose their souls and minds, only able to cure themselves for a little bit by torturing slaves, before being infected with it again, continuing a circle of depravity.
