Who is Marcos Crespo?

Biography Behind the name Depresión Sonora lies Marcos Crespo, an artist from Vallecas (Madrid, Spain) whose music focuses mainly on post-punk, although without neglecting lo-fi pop and electronic music. The project was born independently in May 2020, during the lockdowns of the COVID-19 pandemic, when Marcos himself began recording music with a guitar and a laptop in his room. Despite the artist's short career and his desire to be independent, his songs already have millions of plays on digital platforms. His vision of the darkness of 80's music and his gift for giving a good and bad with his lyrics, pessimistic to a certain point but also danceable, are the perfect combination for the moment we live in. His first independently released EP was released on May 8, 2020, and was followed by a series of singles that would take him into the hands of Sonido Muchacho, the record label with which he will release his debut LP 'El arte de morir muy despacio' in October 2022. The tour in Spain has currently finished with a Latin American tour pending for 2024
