Appearance

Aaron has medium length red hair with yellow eyes. His eyebrows are relatively thick and a bit darker than his hair. He is tanned skinned and less pale than other vampires. He is a muscular man and quite tall according to Eloise. He has scratch marks on his right cheek and arms.

Outfit

Outfit His clothing is casual like that of the rest of modern civilians, since dressing in the clothes of his time would be much less practical for him. He usually wears a brown t-shirt, which he likes a lot, so when it gets damaged during one of his outings to the forest, he prefers to sew it so as not to get rid of it and prevent Beliath from trying to change it for elegant or higher quality fabrics, such as cashmere or silk. In addition to his beloved T-shirt, he usually wears dark jeans in shades of violet and black tennis shoes with white details.

Personality

He is a person with a calm and reserved temperament, but Aaron is still someone friendly, cordial and relaxed with whom it is very easy to have a casual chat. He can also be empathetic and understanding, he is usually willing to listen to others and give them advice about their problems. Thanks to his stay in the pack he has a strong sense of belonging to the group, he is very protective of others and plays the role of "older brother", because unlike Vladimir he usually gives more freedoms and is less authoritarian. Aaron is a man of few words, often failing to understand double meanings or subtle innuendos. Similarly, he rarely measures his own words when speaking to someone else and can hurt people's feelings without realizing it. He hates injustice. He tends to be very impulsive when facing serious situations of this nature, as they affect him intensely on an emotional level. Likewise, he sometimes puts his emotions and ideals before reason. Nature lover, he likes to be outside and is usually found in the garden. He and Rafael are very kind to Eloise from the beginning. They try to make her feel welcome and as comfortable as possible.

History

Origins Aaron's mother was a strong and brave woman who worked as a seamstress to earn a living. Aaron's father was a mercenary in Gascony and fought several battles on behalf of Henry of Trastámara. Aaron mentions not knowing his father except from the stories his mother told him about him, although he also admits that he never missed him.[5] Human life Aaron was born in the late 14th century in a community in Spain.[6] He lived alone with his mother and used to help her by doing various errands to earn enough food for himself and his mother each day. When he was 5 or 6 years old, he had his first encounter with death: Aaron was collecting nuts when he suddenly saw the corpse of a soldier pierced by an arrow; despite the shocking moment, Aaron remained calm until his mother and other people arrived to take the corpse away.[7] Some time later (at the beginning of the 15th century) when Aaron was 18, his mother died. It was then that Aaron, inspired by his father's past as a mercenary, would take his taste for helping and being an errand boy to a higher level and would become a mercenary in the great Catalan company of the Almogavars. Initially he only did work in the fields and carried merchandise, until he was "accepted" into the group by saving one of the company's chiefs from a fire. Aaron mentions that in fact at the beginning, he was not a good fighter; he was actually quite clumsy in combat, so he was in charge of minor things such as looting or kidnapping. In one of his many assignments he was caught in the middle of the battle of Agincourt (1415) and was seriously wounded. Transformation and death "We've been watching you. You try to live for others instead of yourself. You deserve a second chance." Thanks to this wound, he was left dying in the middle of the battlefield and was picked up by Ernesto, the alpha of a pack of werewolves. Aaron fainted and Ernesto carried Aaron on his shoulders to the forest where he spent several days feeling weak and with no one willing to answer his questions. When he finally recovered, the pack transformed in front of him; Ernesto made a cut in his arm with his claws and made another cut in his own arm in order to mix their blood and from that moment on, Aaron was formally a werewolf belonging to the pack. In this pack, Aaron met Farah (Ernesto's sister) with whom he maintained a great friendship and "some moments of shared sensuality" according to his own words, although they were never a formal couple but only "comrades" or companions in Aaron's words. He was exclusively a werewolf for approximately fifteen human years, living with the pack in the Pyrenees mountains and completely oblivious to human conflicts. After Ernesto's death, Farah and Garrett faced each other in a fight to become the new alpha male of the pack. Despite the fact that it had been agreed that it would not be a fight to the death, Aaron did not trust Garrett and jumped into the middle of the fight, receiving a blow to the stomach that was intended for Farah's shoulder. Since this was against the rules of the pack, they left Aaron to bleed out in a tree. Attracted by this smell, a new vampire arrived and transformed Aaron, who from that moment on, began to be a hybrid. The pack said that Aaron simply disappeared, although Farah always believed that his body was possibly burned somewhere. Years before his arrival at the Mansion Aaron met Vladimir when he found him too unstable due to his transformation to the point of killing an old man for food. He helped him control his impulses creating a very special bond despite the short time they stayed together. Due to his help, almost a century later, Vladimir allows Aaron to stay at the Mansion. Aaron continued to wander around Europe in hopes of reconnecting with the pack and enjoyed joining various social movements. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, he was in England participating in the suffragette movement alongside Millicent Fawcett, whom Aaron was fond of. Rumours began to circulate of a handsome, golden-eyed man who only came out at night and attended political and social gatherings, so Farah began to suspect that Aaron had somehow managed to survive. Game Preview Aaron was the second to arrive at the mansion, some time after Vladimir moved in. A few years before the start of the game's story[8], Aaron was the one who saved Ivan one night in the middle of the forest when Constance was trying to end his life: He transformed into a wolf to scare Constance and cause a car accident so she would run away. Aaron felt deep sorrow for the short-lived and unfortunate way Ivan lived; so he decided to give him a second chance by turning him into a vampire. He took him to the mansion, where he made sure Ethan gave him the necessary care and pleaded for him so that Vladimir let him stay at the mansion.

Relations

Farah According to Aaron, he and Farah were not an official couple, although that is how the pack usually saw them. He often refers to her as "comrade", "partner" or "old friend" and says that in the past, they had some shared sensual moments without being tied down. Aaron appreciates Farah enough to sacrifice himself for her in his fight against Garrett without caring if he was killed, injured or expelled from the pack. In the Neutral Ending of his route, Aaron develops and accepts his feelings for both Eloise and Farah and it is implied in the writing that all three are now in a polyamorous relationship.

Relationship with the inhabitants of the mansion

Vladimir Vladimir and Aaron have a very good relationship; years before the events of the game, it was Aaron who taught Vladimir to control his new vampiric condition and prevented him from killing an old man he was feeding on. Despite not agreeing Ivan Beliath Rafael Ethan Enemies Neil Garrett Ernesto Leandra Leandra and Aaron have had casual encounters on several occasions and she always shows interest in him, on the other hand, Aaron constantly rejects her or simply does not understand her provocations. Depending on the player's decisions, the two may end up kissing in a very passionate manner inside the pink room. [10] This could confirm the fact that deep down he does have a crush on her, but rejects her following his instinct that she is someone dangerous and that he must be careful with her.

Skills

Strength: Aaron is probably the inhabitant of the mansion with the most physical strength, due to his large size and muscles. Tracking: Thanks to his combined vampire and werewolf powers, Aaron is able to track anyone more efficiently than the average vampire. He also knows how to hide his tracks. Intuition: Aaron's sense of intuition is probably the most developed of all the characters in the game. He was able to correctly sense Vladimir's changing attitude when they were trying to hunt down Neil[11], Loic's obvious involvement in Ivan's death[12], Beliath's hybrid status, and the strangeness of the bond between Ethan and Eloise[13]. At-Will Wolf Transformation: While Aaron is forced to transform into a wolf once a month during the full moon, Aaron can transform at will if he deems the situation warrants it. Knowledge of the Supernatural: Due to the length of time he has been alive, Aaron has a great deal of knowledge about the supernatural, spells, rituals, and anti-supernatural traditions of the past. Combat: Aaron is especially skilled in hand-to-hand combat, as well as sword combat. However, his fighting style relies more on being rough and tough than performing proper technique or being graceful. Fencing: Aaron is very good at fighting with some types of swords, especially short-range ones. Sewing: Due to all the time he's been alive, Aaron has some basic sewing skills that he uses to mend his clothes and avoid throwing them away.

(Aaron) is a biblical male name. From the Hebrew "Aharón" meaning "enlightened one, exalted one." It appears in the Bible, specifically in the Old Testament, where it was used by his older brother and assistant Moses and Miriam.
