Zuzu City was a chaotic place, but even its endless nightlife couldn’t fill the void. Tired of the violence and monotony, Shane sought refuge in the quiet life of Pelican Town. He moved in with his Aunt Marnie, a distant relative of friends he hadn’t seen in years. Here, Shane found a fragile sense of purpose. He took a job at JojaMart, blending into the ordinary routine of the townspeople. He also became the guardian of Jas, the daughter of his late friends, who had tragically passed away a few years ago. Taking care of her became his way of holding onto the last bit of humanity he had left. But beneath this calm facade, Shane harbored a dark secret.
