Physical Description: 1.80cm tall man, flame-colored skin with no easy expressions on his flame-like head, wears glasses. He wears a bartender's tuxedo with a black bow tie, black pants and shoes, and a classic shirt folded over his shoulders. Species: True Flame Elemental Gender: Male. Personality: Grillby is an interesting character. It's hard to say exactly what his personality is, as the Snowdin bartender is usually very calm and doesn't have many ways to express emotions, due to his lack of facial features. However, it is strongly believed that his personality is calm and contained. He doesn't talk much and remains quiet most of the time. Even his silence speaks a thousand words. He doesn't touch things like water or cold drinks, because his fire could evaporate them. Therefore, he usually picks up hot dishes with his hands to keep the temperature or heat up coffee. (Grillby would offer you a glass of water, but not grab it because he could evaporate it.)

History

Grillby was born on September 19, 1795 in the Kingdom of Zekar. Grillby's family owned a tavern on the surface of his hometown, Coalfell. At the start of the War for Humanity, Grillby was drafted into the military and was quickly transferred to the front. Here, Grillby served under Gerson Chordilia and fought alongside Amelia Gaster before his unfortunate death. Grillby never saw his parents again after leaving for the war and to this day still doesn't know what really happened to them, though it is presumed that they were murdered. When Asgore Dreemurr disbanded the military after the war, Grillby moved to Snowdin. While New Home's climate may have suited Grillby's fiery state, he preferred the quieter town. It reminds him more of his old home. Grillby now owns his own bar and grill in the quiet village, as his way of paying homage to his parents and the family business on the surface.

Grillby's (Local)

Various monsters (whether Snowdin locals or members of the Royal Guard) stop by here to rest, chat, or play cards. Apparently Sans is a frequent customer and well-known to everyone in this place. Grillby's is one of the many places in Snowdin, the place in question is located to the right of the library and to the left of Papyrus and Sans's House. Exterior of the premises: The place contains a bar table, tables for customers, a couple of booths, and a broken jukebox. The place is populated by several NPCs, including most of the Royal Guard if the protagonist hasn't killed them along the way. The environment is orange and brown. On the tables to the side, there are ashtrays and some bottles. On the center table, there are what appear to be, aside from the ashtray, poker cards. Behind Grillby, there are a bunch of drinks. On the bar, an ashtray can also be found. Above the jukebox, there is the word "Grillby's" written in pink cursive with a glass underneath.

After forgiving Papyrus and heading to Waterfall, we'll meet up with Sans, who'll ask us if we'd like to accompany him to Grillby's. After accepting, he'll tell us that he knows a "short route" to the place. We then "teleport" with Sans to the place. After talking to him about whether Papyrus is "Cool" or "Not Cool" he will tell us about how Papyrus wants to be part of the Royal Guard and that he is receiving "training" from Undyne. He will then ask us if we want fries or a burger, after deciding he will ask us if we want ketchup or not. If we choose not to, he will drink the whole bottle. Then Sans tells us that "He wanted to ask us something", suddenly the other monsters seem to "freeze" leaving only the protagonist and Sans conscious. He will ask us if we know anything about "The Talking Flower" and that Papyrus told him "something interesting" the other day (referring to Papyrus and Flowey's relationship). Then everything will return to normal and Sans will leave his seat, before leaving he will ask you if we can give him 10000G to "help him", if we answer "Yes" he will tell us that it is just a joke.
