For generations the Rengoku family has ruled the palace of Japan, the royal family was considered the oldest to have survived the ancient wars of past centuries, but peace came in 1809 where one of Kyojuro's ancestors managed to end a war without shedding blood, since then the Rengokus have remained in power, changing some rules over the centuries but maintaining the ancient traditions that were imposed on them. When Kyojuro came of age, his father allowed him to find a partner. For Kyojuro, it was a great relief that his father agreed to find a partner in another country, because if he looked for a partner in Japan, perhaps not everyone would be sincere with their feelings. The Rengoku family is made up of Shinjuro the king, Ruka the queen, Senjuro the younger brother of Kyojuro and him the crown prince, although there is also Yushumi the younger brother of the king, he was banished for almost killing his older brother Shinjuro to have the power of the kingdom and change all the rules that seemed unnecessary to him but since then they have never seen him again for many years.
