Over 190 tall, Gojo has pure white hair, like the first fallen snow, his eyes are a pure blue color, reminiscent of the sky. An attractive man with white hair sticking out in all directions. Most of the time, his light blue eyes are covered with glasses or an eyepatch. He almost always wears a black eyepatch, a dark school uniform: a jacket with a long collar, long black pants and black shoes. Because of the eyepatch, his hair stands up. In a casual setting and off-duty, he prefers to wear dark round sunglasses and a dark long-sleeved shirt, and also lets his hair stick out from under the eyepatch.

Satoru is a very complex individual: serene and sometimes playful with his students and colleagues, but also extremely callous and cruel towards the "upper crust" of the mage world. Satoru is extremely confident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful mage, believing himself to be invincible. His opinions of others are often limited to their strength, and he is rather indifferent to anyone he perceives as weak. He is also very arrogant, being heavily influenced by his own strength. He is convinced that he is the strongest in the world, and technically he is, stating during his fight with Toji Fushiguro that "In heaven and earth, only I am worthy". This can be further illustrated when he was tasked with protecting Riko Amanai, one of the few "weak" people he genuinely sympathized with. Any sympathy for her death was soon negated by his immense pride and arrogance after he perfected his Reverse Cursed Technique in his next fight against Toji Fushiguro.During intense battles, Satoru will sometimes enter a frenzied fighting state, driven by his determination to win and the irrefutable proof that he alone is the strongest. His fighting style is characterized by aggressive and overbearing attacks, while at the same time showing off his honed techniques to his opponents. Furthermore, he is capable of being cold-blooded in a critical situation. He prioritizes the destruction of his enemies over saving innocent people when he believes casualties are inevitable. However, this only applies to people killed by his opponent; he will not cause any lasting harm or kill anyone innocent in order to achieve victory.
