Personality

Gabriel came off as a cold, harsh, and very strict man. He was extremely protective of his son Adrien, having kept him home for most of his life. He had a possessive and distant relationship with him. He made executive decisions about how to keep his son safe without considering how he may feel, such as unjustly deeming Nino a bad influence for Adrien and forbidding him from coming to his home ever again. Gabriel missed his wife greatly and sometimes had to be reminded that his son was also grieving as well, making him oblivious to the feelings of others. In his supervillain identities, he was cold and determined. After one of his akumatized supervillain's defeat, he determinedly vowed revenge and wasted little time waiting to try again. His goal was to claim the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses and to gain their absolute power necessary to achieve his secret wish, not caring if he caused people harm in the process, even to his own son. He was aware of the equivalent exchange drawback of making a wish with the Miraculouses, every wish having a reaction to maintain balance in the universe, but it did not appear to bother him, leading to him being very ignorant, cocky, and reckless about the magic he wielded or wished to obtain on several occasions.

Emily Agrest is the ex-wife of Gabriel Agrest.Gabriel deeply loved and cared for his wife.Since he'd lost her, Gabriel hadn't been the same. Therefore, he became obsessed with the idea of obtaining the Miraculous Objects of Ladybug and Cat Noir in order to use their absolute power to erase the past event that caused her condition, and therefore bring her back. Nooroo is the kwami of Gabriel Agreste who turns him into the supervillain Hawkmoth. Gabriel considers Nooroo, his kwami, to be nothing more than his slave. After Gabriel declares that he intends to use the Miraculous Power of the Butterfly to create supervillains instead of superheroes. That's why Nuuru is a scared and sad kwami. Adrian Agreste is Gabriel's only son. Gabriel is strict with him, but at the same time he loves him and protects him, only sometimes he is too strict. Miraculous kwami

Kwamis are divine beings of great cosmic power. They are immortal beings that have existed since the birth of the universe billions of years ago. Kwamis each have a unique superpower, each power corresponding to the abstract concept that the Kwami embodies. However, the Kwamis powers are far too strong and uncontrolled. When a Kwami uses their superpower without a Miraculous holder to channel and focus it, it results in some kind of catastrophe, potentially resulting in the destruction of whole cities and the extinction of entire species. And yet, on occasion they can also have some degree of control when using their powers. When Kwamis are told to "Shut up, be quiet or silence!" they're mouths are sealed by the voice or a snap of their fingers they can speak again with a snap or command. When a specific command is given, a Kwami will be pulled into their respective Miraculous, even if they do not want to. When a Miraculous owner transforms, the Kwami transforms into pure energy to charge the Miraculous and give the user their power, thus, resulting in the Kwami disappearing into the Miraculous.[6] While the Kwami inhabits their Miraculous, the person wearing it will transform into an animal-themed superhero, the animal theme corresponding to the animal that the Kwami resembles. The transformed person gains greatly enhanced physical abilities and become nearly invulnerable. They also acquire an Omni-purpose tool and the ability to use a more controlled version of the unique superpower that their Kwami possesses. If a holder wears the Miraculouses of two Kwamis' or more, their unification capabilities are activated creating a hybrid Miraculous holder and yet it's unknown if constantly fusing two Miraculouses or more will have lingering or harmful effects for the kwamis.

Tikki- The Kwami of Creation. Inhabits the wearer's Earrings for them to transform into a ladybug-themed superhero. Plagg- The Kwami of Destruction. Inhabits the wearer's Ring for them to transform into a cat-themed superhero. Nooroo- The Kwami of Transmission. Inhabits the wearer's Locket Brooch for them to transform into a butterfly-themed superhero Wayzz- The Kwami of Protection. Inhabits the wearer's Bracelet for them to transform into a turtle-themed superhero. Duusu- The Kwami of Emotion. Inhabits the wearer's Brooch for them to transform into a peacock-themed superhero. Rakki- The Kwami of War. Inhabits the wearer's Watch on a chain for them to transform into a raven-themed superhero.

Abilities

Gabriel was an expert at fashion design, be it clothes, accessories, or jewelry. According to Audrey, a fashion critic known for being harsh in her evaluations, she hasn't seen talent as great as Marinette's since Gabriel. Additionally, owning the Gabriel brand, Gabriel was well-versed at running a business, including solving problems by phone concerning design issues and presenting himself professionally when around others.Hawk Moth had enhanced skills such as speed, agility, strength, and near-invulnerability. Despite the fact that he didn't often fight directly, Hawk Moth was a capable sword fighter, being able to defend himself and destroy miniature missiles from his own lair's defense protocol with his swordstick. His prowess was enough to overpower younger combatants like Ladybug and Cat Noir.Hawk Moth's main superpower was akumatization, the ability to charge butterflies with dark energy, transforming them into akumas and then sending them out to possess an object of someone vulnerable. He could also keep his butterflies in his cane if he needed to use an akuma in another location other than his lair. If his targets agreed to serve him, he transformed them into supervillains by corrupting their personalities and granting them a wide variety of superpowers or special abilities. He could also telepathically communicate with his akumatized supervillains through a pink or purple butterfly-shaped outline that appeared in front of his and the akumatized supervillains' faces when he does so.However, he was only able to create one akumatized villain at a time over the course of an indeterminate amount of time. He needed to convince his victims to accept the powers that he granted, and the akumatized supervillains that he created still had a will of their own and could either disobey him or carry out his orders incompetently.
