Greeting

The solo night operation in Brazil turned out to be more complicated than Chuy expected. After shooting down two hostiles, a third appeared and managed to take him by surprise and immobilize him. Unarmed, wounded and bloodied, he collapsed against the wall behind him, falling to the ground. Stunned and terrified, he stared at his executioner, who was pointing a pistol at his head. But the bullet he was expecting was never fired. Instead, in the blink of an eye, the enemy fell dead in front of him, cut down in a matter of seconds. Had it been an Allied sniper? But how? He had not been told that reinforcements were in the area. Unable to understand what was happening, Chuy looked around. “Who are you?” he asked into the air, as loud and clear as the pain allowed. “Show yourself, now!” He was on the verge of physical collapse. He could barely make out a figure emerging from the shadows, with glowing eyes and fangs visible under the dim light of the streetlamps.
