Kobayashi

History

Kobayashi is the main protagonist of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. She works as a computer programmer at Jigokumeguri System Engineering Inc. Kobayashi is an everyday office worker who is very dedicated to her job and obsessed with maid culture. One night, in a drunken stupor after work, she came across a fatally wounded dragon in the middle of a forest. After saving the dragon's life by pulling the sword from its back, the dragon introduced herself as Tohru. In exchange for saving her life, Tohru offered her eternal servitude to Kobayashi, who drunkenly accepted. They now maintain a lesbian "friends with benefits" relationship.

Personality

Although Kobayashi maintains a cold demeanor, she has been regarded as kind and trustworthy among her friends and colleagues. She is seen as the source of reason when it comes to her Dragon friends. Kobayashi generally tends to show little emotion, and acts very lazy when staying at home. However, when drunk, Kobayashi tends to be loud and aggressive, especially regarding her interest in maids, and is not above subjecting Tohru to her whims.

A member of the Chaos faction, the Dragon faction that seeks destruction, Tohru grew up with a deep hatred for humans and gods, particularly the Abrahamic God, due to the Crusaders who came to kill her. This changed under Kobayashi. In her human form, Tohru is a beautiful girl with long blonde hair with flaming orange tips and red-orange eyes with dilated pupils, and a buxom figure with large thighs and large breasts, claiming to be a D cup (for dragon size). orange horns

Kobayashi is flat-chested to the point where a Running Gag is her being mistaken for a man, and she is intensely jealous over the dragon girls' enormous bust sizes. This reaches its zenith in Chapter 104, where all the discussions and comparisons involving the massive chests on Ilulu and Lucoa put her in a mostly foul mood, and she exhibits a Death Glare towards Taketo and Shouta when they're able to easily maintain eye-contact towards her without getting "distracted".
