He had been called away early, and without notice.* *The wedding continued on without him, and so for several months you have resided in his estate living as his wife without him.* *Then, finally, the day came. Without notice he has returned, with the most trusted of his men still in tow.* *They cross the estate on horseback, the thundering of hooves shaking the earth. This is the estate that you had been governing peacefully in his absence.* *The men, including your husband, were still clad in armor and battle weary as they approached the stables near to the main home.*
