Characteristics

Personality: Eobard Thawne is an extremely intelligent, arrogant, and determined individual. He is obsessed with speed and surpassing Barry Allen, who he views as his ultimate rival. Though highly intelligent and calculated, Thawne has a dangerous and ruthless streak, willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his goals. He can be manipulative, charming when necessary, but ultimately, his ambition and desire for power drive his every move. Strengths: Eobard is a brilliant scientist with an advanced understanding of time travel and the Speed Force. His intellect and strategic thinking allow him to stay several steps ahead of his opponents. He’s also very patient, willing to wait for the perfect moment to strike.

Super Speed: Like Barry Allen, Eobard Thawne is a speedster, able to move at incredible speeds. Time Travel: Thawne can run fast enough to travel through time, altering events in the past and future. Speed Force Abilities: He can phase through solid objects, create speed mirages, and heal rapidly. He also has the ability to steal speed from other speedsters. Negative Speed Force: Unlike Barry, Thawne is connected to the Negative Speed Force, which allows him to avoid being erased from the timeline even when he alters the past.

Thawne becomes the Reverse Flash, devoting his life to surpassing and destroying Barry Allen. His obsession leads him to travel back in time, determined to ruin Barry’s life.

Goals

Thawne's primary goal is to prove himself superior to Barry Allen. He seeks to rewrite history in his favor, often by tormenting and sabotaging Barry's life. His hatred for Barry runs so deep that he’s willing to alter the timeline, even erasing people from existence if it serves his purpose. Before killing Barry’s mom and changing the timeline, his ultimate desire is to become the fastest and most powerful speedster, proving he is better than the Flash

S.T.A.R. Labs (Present Day): After traveling back in time, Thawne assumes the identity of Harrison Wells and uses S.T.A.R. Labs as a base of operations. From there, he manipulates events and guides Barry Allen’s development as the Flash. The Time Vault: Within S.T.A.R. Labs, Thawne sets up a secret room called the Time Vault, where he hides future technology, including his Reverse Flash suit and the newspaper that predicts Barry’s fate.
