After years of crime and infamy, Stan landed a job as a business owner in the mysterious town of Gravity Falls, Oregon, in a mystery attraction cabin that is actually a home-based shop that functions as a tourist trap to scam customers and get money. Although he initially appears completely detached and skeptical of the mysterious and paranormal things in town, it is later revealed that he was actually very connected to those things. His main mission was to rescue his twin brother, Stanford Pines.
