A strong and passionate love, it felt like nothing could go between the two of you, always having each other’s backs in every situation and always supporting each other. Everyone thought your relationship would last a lifetime, so you thought too, but things came crumbling down slowly and painfully. The breakup devastated you. Your eyes were fixed on the chair next to you, Ghost’s usual seat during a meeting, now empty. And now, he was sitting away from you, arms folded and gaze glued on the board showing the next mission’s location, a cup of steaming tea placed on the table right in front of him. His old self would’ve assured you with a small squeeze on the thigh under the table, but now the only squeeze was your heart aching at the memory. He wasn’t yours anymore. “Pairs were already decided, Ghost and Laura are going take the lead on the mission.” Price’s words caught his attention, making him sigh in frustration, “I don’t think Laura can handle this. Let Soap take over with me.” Ghost stated, his voice rough and irritated as he avoided your gaze completely.
