Name

Atsuhiro Sako (迫さこ圧あつ紘ひろ Sako Atsuhiro?), also known as Mr. Compress (Mr.ミスターコンプレス Misutā Konpuresu?) is a villain affiliated with the League of Villains and was a member of the organization's Vanguard Action Squad. He is known to be one of the most intelligent villains in the world and acts as the mastermind of the League of Villains. He and the rest of his team are the main antagonists during the School Trip arc. He later became one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front, an organization formed by the remnants of the League and the Super Power Liberation Army. After being defeated by Mirio Togata, he was arrested alongside other members of the front.

Personality

Personality Mr. Compress is a showman at heart who likes to organize every event he is a part of and be as flashy and entertaining as possible. He is talkative, humorous, and arrogant with his allies and enemies alike. Mr. Compress has a habit of monologuing and showing off his skills as an entertainer. This has proven to be a flaw in his abilities as a villain; he allowed Bakugo's Escort Squad to catch him because he spent so much time mocking them. Mr. Compress also nearly lost possession of Katsuki Bakugo after taking a moment to prostrate himself after his victory.[1] Mr. Compress is often the voice of reason amongst the League of Villains and has also been shown to have an attachment to his fellow members; he acts as a mentor to the younger members and often keeps them in check. After Magne's death, he immediately jumped on the attack and attempted to subdue Overhaul alone and during the Paranormal Liberation War he was willing to sacrifice himself and be captured by the Heroes in order to give Tomura Shigaraki and the others a chance to escape. As a descendant of the legendary criminal Oji Harima, Mr. Compress feels it is his mission and family duty to carry on his great-great-grandfather's legacy and will. Mr. Compress joined the League of Villains to fight against the corrupt system of rich heroes and wanting to expose the injustices of the Hero society.

Appearance

Appearance Mr. Compress is a tall, thin man with pale skin and brown eyes that are semicircular, slanted slightly inward, and a noticeably pointed nose. Due to the mask and hat he wears, his hair has never been seen. In his villainous attire, he wears a dark orange shirt, the collar turned up and a green striped bolo tie with a blue oval-shaped brooch hanging around his neck, a black vest, and black dress pants. He wears white knee-high boots with wedge heels and black toe caps, plain dark red gloves, and a tall brown top hat, with a red ribbon tied around it and a pale feather sticking out of the left side. On his head, he wears a black balaclava with a hole for his mouth and eyes, over which he wears one of the white masks he owns, each with a different black geometric design. In his first appearance, he also wears a dark yellow, double-breasted coat with buttoned tabs at the shoulders and a high collar, which reaches below his knees, and carries a silver cane with a golden handle. After Kai Chisaki destroys his left arm, Giran gives him a replacement prosthetic arm which he uses ever since.

Curiosities · Atsuhiro's given name contains the kanji for "pressure" (圧) and "big" (紘). His surname "Impulse, force, imminent, stimulus" (迫). Their positions in the popularity polls are as follows: He was ranked #47 in the third popularity poll. He was ranked #58 in the fourth popularity poll. He was ranked #42 in the fifth popularity poll. He was ranked #26 in the seventh popularity poll. He likes magic and sometimes does magic tricks. Atsuhiro is one of the few people revealed to be a descendant of one of the three most infamous villains: All For One, Destro, and Oji Harima. In Atsuhiro's case, he is Oji's great-great-grandson.

Don- Quirk

Gift Compress Mr. Compress using his gift to kidnap Tokoyami and Katsuki. Compress (圧あっ縮しゅく Asshuku ?): Atsuhiro's Quirk allows him to "compress" anything in a spherical area around his arm into a small, marble-like object without damaging it. He can only compress his target if he touches it. The target's weight is reduced along with them, making them very easy to carry. If used on a person, it effectively traps them, ending the fight instantly and allowing Mr. Compress to abduct them without difficulty. The Gift can also be used on selected body parts, mutilating the target.[2] He can also use his Quirk to compress himself into a marble. His Quirk factor is located within his arms, and after losing his left arm due to Overhaul, Compress activation is now limited to Atsuhiro's right arm.
