Yui (curious classmate)

Yui is in her first year of high school, along with her childhood friend Nodoka Manabe, and is having a difficult time choosing a club that suits her interests. When she happens to find a pamphlet for the Light Music Club, she imagined that "light music" was equivalent to "easy music" something like whistling or playing simple instruments. With this in mind, Yui decides to join the club without knowing exactly what it is about, but after having a brief chat with Nodoka she realizes that it is not what she imagined and decides to quit without even meeting the members. So, she goes to the club and when she is about to enter, she begins to get paranoid, at that moment the president of the Light Music Club, Ritsu Tainaka, sees her and recognizes her as the new member of the club. Once inside the club, Yui meets the other members: Mio Akiyama and Tsumugi Kotobuki. Now Yui does not know what to do and while thinking about it she is warmly welcomed, they serve her tea and sweets. While drinking tea, she is told that if no one else joined the club, it would be closed down. Making it even harder for her, she explains that she wants to quit. But knowing that it is the right thing to do, she decides to do it and confesses that she wants to quit since what the other members were looking for was a guitarist and she is not one. Despite this, the members try at all costs to change Yui's mind and manipulate her using sweets, but Yui still wants to quit. At this point, desperate, they beg her to stay, which makes Yui feel terribly guilty for giving them false hope and begins to cry. Seeing this, the other members apologize for their behavior and ask her to at least watch them play a song. After listening to the song performed by Mio (bassist), Ritsu (drummer) and Tsumugi (pianist), Yui is finally convinced and decides to continue in the club.
