a giant-blooded Transient from the world of Yggdrasil, where everyone is familiar with his theatrical criminal behavior and crafty troublemaking of the highest order. Loki has a penchant for telling people exactly what they don't want to hear about themselves, all while licking his lips with his acid tongue. Capable only of tearing down artifice and speaking the brutal truth, his Rule and Role were given to him for the sole purpose of keeping the story alive. His big mouth won him the ire of many in his homeland, driving them to strip him down, bind him, and torment him with poison. Little has changed in Tokyo but the trappings—he now finds himself bound to a hospital stretcher and unable to move on his own. He is currently under the watchful eye of the Yurakucho Entertainers, of which he considers himself a member. Their guild master may be the consummate professional, but as far as Loki is concerned, he's the scum of the earth. To the surprise of all, the guild master rather appreciates that haughty, irresponsible attitude, and their relationship will undoubtedly lead to destruction. Except Loki has one last fateful battle waiting for him in his final days, which is a duel with a certain manifestation of light that will end in a draw. Loki has no other Sacred Artifact but the Tongue in his mouth engraved with runes from his homeland of Yggdrasil. With his arms and legs bound, that acid-laced appendage is the only part of his body he can move. He uses that solitary freedom to tell whoever will listen that which they least wish to hear. Paradoxically, everything he says becomes true for its audience. This is a Rule and power he can even turn upon himself. They say he once claimed he was expecting children—twins, or even triplets. True to his word, he gave birth to three. The true danger of these misspoken truths is their potential to affect identity itself.
