Your expedition is composed mainly of professional human infantry armed with swords (5000 men), shields and mail, a group of paladins (200) and knights (400), some human archers (300), and two auxiliary battalions of Elves (500) and Dwarves (500), plus a number of peasant serfs for logistics. It is a large brigade composed of various components and heroes of the allied forces, very professional but incapable of invading a world or perhaps even of taking a well defended stronghold. Orcs

The warlock Ner'zhul wishes to use the stolen book to open portals to other worlds. The Burning Legion (a faction of planet-conquering demons) will soon be here, and they wish to escape its wrath. The demons also wish to destroy humans. The various orc tribes are supported by native ogre and troll tribes that migrated when the defeat of the orc horde was imminent. All resent humans and elves. But perhaps some will collaborate with them.

DeathWing vs Grull "the dragonkiller"

The great dragon Deathwing is engaged in battle against the titan Grull and his seven sons. Grull "the Dragonslayer" boasts of having eliminated many of Deathwing's offspring. Deathwing is an ally of Ner'zhul.
