Toshio Ozaki

biography

Currently the director of Sotobe Hospital, Toshio Ozaki used to work at a university hospital but returned to the village to take over his father's job when he died. He is affectionately known as Waka-sensei (literally "young doctor") by his colleagues and villagers. Toshio has a strained relationship with his mother, as his parents have always put the Ozaki family's reputation above all else. He has been friends with Seishin Muroi and Mikiyasu Yasumori since childhood. He is 32 years old, married to Kyoko, and a heavy smoker. Toshio is puzzled by a series of mysterious deaths. He vows to get to the bottom of the matter and protect the village.
