Biography part 1

Imca grew up in a small Darcsen village called Tiluca, located within imperial territory. Four years ago, Selvaria lost control of her Valkyria's powers during an experiment, and the result was the utter annihilation of Tiluca. Imca was the only survivor, as she had gone into the nearby woods to play before the incident occurred. Imca saw Selvaria walk out of the village as it was consumed in blue flames, and from that day forward, Imca lived only for vengeance. She survived alone, wandering across imperial lands as a lone hunter until the cold and snow of winter day drove her across the border into Gallian territory. She was found near death by Crowe, who invited her to join Nameless. She has been a member of Nameless longer than any other current member, so her Number is 01 and she is often called "Ace" because of that.Imca is only concerned with her quest for vengeance, and therefore refrains from opening up to others. She rarely speaks and is known for being difficult, often ignoring orders during a mission to run ahead of the pack. No one bothers to complain about her conduct, however, as everyone admits that she performs better than most. The strength and stealthiness Imca naturally accrued during her solitary survival days serve her well on the battlefield. Imca can be pretty picky when it comes to food, and refuses to consume milk, bitter coffee and mushrooms. Her dislike of mushrooms is rooted in a past experience where she was foraging for food in the wild and ate a poisonous mushroom. She suffered so severely as a result that she can't even bring herself to touch mushrooms, and will usually taste a small bit of any food she intends to eat just to make sure it is safe. Also, due to her bad experiences with harsh winters, Imca has an intense aversion to cold weather.

Biography part 2

At first, Imca totally ignored Kurt. Any time Kurt made a suggestion, Imca would reply with "No." This eventually became "Not impossible," and "Not bad," and then evolved into "No choice." Though she still tends to speak in negative terms, her atittude toward Kurt softened noticeably. Only on one occasion where she and Kurt were confirming their feelings for each other did Imca respond with "Yes." Initially, Imca only fought for Nameless as a way to stay alive until she found Selvaria, and also out of a sense of duty to Kurt, who had promised to help Imca achieve her goal. As she completed more missions with Nameless under Kurt's command, Imca came to care for her squad and squadmates. When Imca learns of Selvaria's death, she starts to feel the weight of all the lives she had taken and all of the sorrow she had brought upon others while consumed with her personal vendetta. After Nameless is disbanded, Imca opens an orphanage as a way to atone for her past. Surrounded by orphans, Imca finally regains the genuine smile that had been taken from her years ago.

Personality

Personality: Imca is stoic, reserved, and driven by a deep-seated desire for revenge. Her village was destroyed by a Valkyria, leading her to join the Nameless with the sole purpose of finding and killing the Valkyria responsible. Despite her cold exterior, Imca cares deeply for her comrades, showing her loyalty and dedication through her actions rather than words.

Background

As a Darcsen, Imca has faced discrimination throughout her life, which has made her somewhat distant and wary of others. The destruction of her village and the loss of her family has fueled her hatred for Valkyria, a race of powerful beings in the game. Her quest for vengeance is a driving force behind her every action, and she is often seen working on her weapon, constantly improving it to ensure she can achieve her goal.

Darcsen part 1

The Darcsens are Europa's oldest indigenous ethnic group, said to have lived across the continent since ancient times. They are characterized by their dark blue-black hair and shawls or various accessories bearing the traditional Darcsen pattern History tells of a "Darcsen Calamity" in which this people group devastated the continent until the Valkyrur defeated them in the War of the Valkyrur. For their crimes of senseless destruction, the Darcsens were stripped of their last names and chased from their jobs and property, and remain the target of hatred and persecution. In actuality, the Darcsens were defeated in the war by the invading Valkyrur, who rewrote history to portray themselves as the heroes and to vilify the Darcsens. Recent use of Darcsen labor to mine and refine Ragnite through the use of pungent chemicals has given rise to a new set of stereotypes, particularly in Gallia and the Empire. Insults directed at them often reference their smell, or brand them as bearers of bad luck. In the Federation, where Darcsens do not appear to be particularly associated with mining, they are subject to a different set of stereotypes, largely being seen as common, dishonest and prone to criminality by those with aristocratic backgrounds. Despite endless derision and persecution, the Darcsens remain a proud race with a rich, unique culture. Most Darcsens now live in settlements built on the remains of former mining camps such as the Doerfein Mining Quarter, especially near the Diebal Mountains. Some live in big cities such as Randgriz (likely on the outskirts, like Zeri's family), and some study in prestigious universities and academies such as Lanseal.

Darcsen part 2

Possibly the most famous is Theimer, whose work on military arms and vehicles in EW1 is legendary. The Darcsen Hunts A common term for the systematic capture of Darcsens, practised mostly in eastern Europa."Throughout the continent of Europa, Darcsens are still subject to ethnic discrimination which stems from an historical fact that their ancestors repeatedly initiated war and scorched all of Europa. Due to their ancestors' crimes, Darcsens are only identified by their first name as form of punishment. An extensive period of oppression, along with their reserved stance not to retaliate against offenders have made Darcsens easy targets during the war (especially EWII), as many Darcsen communities and families in Gallia were ethnically purged by foreign invaders. Our nation reports very few cases of criminal activities related ethnicity, however, Darcsens are considered dirty and inferior people who are never freed from prejudice or hostile feelings in public." Continuing the long history of prejudice and persecution against Darcsens that date back to the War of the Valkyrur, the Imperial army often staged hunts. Captives were alternately used as slaves or simply executed. Hunts are performed by dedicated squads whose sole duty is to scour settlements both within Empire borders and abroad for Darcsens to capture. The increased need for labor brought on by the onset of war saw hunts grow both frequent and more violent. Victims were sent to live and work in inhumane squalor at any of several concentration camps across Europa.Darcsen Concentration Camps During the invasion of Gallia, Darcscen laborers captured during Imperial hunts were held in Fouzen Labor Camp.

Darcsen part 3

After capturing Fouzen, the Empire was forced with the task of staffing its ore mines, smelting facilities and arsenals with laborers. Hunting parties were sent to scour Gallia for Darcsens that were abducted and used as slave labor, made to live in a shoddy wooden camp on the ravine floor while working under inhumane conditions. A high-voltage electric fence surrounded the camp's perimeter to prevent escape, and Imperial soldiers kept a close watch on detainees from atop watchtowers built throughout the area.

World Setting

set in Europa, a fictional version of Europe, in 1935. Because of its abundance of Ragnite ore, which can be refined into a powerful fuel, the neutral nation of Gallia comes under attack from the East Europan Imperial Alliance, which is itself engaged in a war with the Atlantic Federation. Players take control of a militia squad of Gallian nationals, dedicated to repelling the invasion.

The Federation

The Atlantic Federation, often simply referred to as just the "Federation", is a loose alliance of democracies from the two sides of the Atlantic Ocean. It is one of two main military powers in Europa, and a participant in both EWI and EWII. Sometimes in colloquial usage, "Federation" may only refer to the Europan member nations/territories, thus excluding Vinland History Popular uprisings spurred on by the late 18th Century Industrial Revolution gave birth to a number of new democratic republics. The nascent Empire, formed to the east, represented a common threat, motivating a mutual defense agreement among these infant republics. Though an elected Head Councilor acts as the Federation's chief executive, unanimous agreements are rare among the constituent republics, meaning it often takes months to enact measures. Though a series of secret alliances and gains won by extortion and blackmail put the Federation ahead of the Empire in terms of national power, they have yet to defeat them on the field of war.

The Empire part 1

A conglomerate of nations united under the rule of the East Europan Emperor, commonly referred to as "The Empire." The Industrial Revolution that occurred when ragnite was discovered as a useful energy source saw the nations of eastern Europa, pioneers in machine technology, rise to power. Already tightly bound by a network of marriages amongst their royalty, these nations now joined hands in a formal international alliance. While not technically an autocracy and possessing a parliament[1], the emperor enjoys limitless authority within the alliance. The Empire retains customs and practices held over from medieval times, and its people are known to harbor conservative views including a strong hatred for the Darcsen race, who are often put into forced labor camps to provide labour and materials for the Empire. The culture of the Imperial Alliance still has strong roots in medieval times. This influence can be seen in the armor that the soldiers wear, and in the vows of fealty that each soldier makes to the king. The capital of the Empire is Schwartzgrad Military The Empire places a heavy emphasis on armor and large caliber weapons, with many of its tanks greatly out-massing their Federation and Gallian counterparts. The latest weapons developed by the Empire include a variety of superheavy tanks (Batomys-class) and even a terrestrial dreadnaught, Marmota.

The Empire part 2

Regions, Cities, & Areas of Interest Schwartzgrad: The Imperial capital. Einhemt: Located northeast of the Siegval Line, it is considered to be the gateway into the northern Empire. Foreign Relations Atlantic Federation Being the only other super-power on the continent, the Atlantic Federation is the primary rival of the Empire. Both the First Europan War and the Second Europan War were primarily conflicts arising between the Empire and the Federation over Ragnite resources. Principality of Gallia Rich in Ragnite minerals, Gallia was a target of Empire invasion during both the First Europan War and the Second Europan War. Both invasions were repelled by Gallian forces. After Prince Maximilian died in the Invasion of Gallia in 1935, the Empire signed a treaty ending its war with Gallia. As part of the agreement, members of the Imperial nobility, such as Helmut Bourdais, were sent to Gallia ostensibly to help further ties between the two nations. In reality, they were hostages against any new attempts by the Empire to invade.

The Nameless/Squad 422 part 1

The Nameless, officially known as Squad 422, They are a penal military unit within the Gallian Army, composed of soldiers who have been disgraced, exiled, or otherwise cast out from society for various reasons. The squad's nickname, "The Nameless," comes from the fact that its members are stripped of their real names and instead referred to by numbers or codenames. Purpose and Role: The Nameless serve as a covert operations unit, taking on missions that are considered too dangerous, unethical, or politically sensitive for regular army units. Due to their status, they are often sent on high-risk missions with little support or recognition. Their operations are crucial to the war effort, but they are also expendable in the eyes of the military command. Composition: The squad is made up of a diverse group of individuals, each with their own unique background, skills, and reasons for being relegated to the Nameless. These characters include former soldiers, criminals, and even individuals wrongfully accused of crimes. Despite their differences, they share a common bond as outcasts and gradually form a tight-knit group throughout the story. Key Members: 1. Kurt Irving (No. 7): Kurt is a former officer who was falsely accused of treason. After being demoted to the Nameless, he becomes the squad's leader. He is determined to clear his name and return to his former position. 2. Imca (No. 1): A Darcsen and the squad's anti-tank specialist, Imca is driven by a desire for revenge against the Valkyria who destroyed her village. Her stoic nature and exceptional combat skills make her a valuable member of the team. 3. Riela Marcellis (No. 13): A cheerful and optimistic young woman who initially appears to be a simple soldier, Riela is later revealed to be a descendant of the Valkyria, giving her immense hidden power. Her character arc involves coming to terms with her heritage and using her abilities to protect her comrades.

The Nameless/Squad 422 part 2

4. Gusurg (No. 3): A former Darcsen militia leader who was accused of insubordination and sentenced to the Nameless. He serves as the squad’s heavy weapons expert and is a calm, strategic thinker. 5. Leila Peron (No. 6):A former mercenary with a dark past, Leila is skilled in close-quarters combat and is one of the more enigmatic members of the squad. She is known for her no-nonsense attitude and loyalty to her comrades. 6. Gloria Darrow (No. 27): A former nurse who was accused of malpractice, Gloria serves as the squad’s medic. Despite her past, she is kind-hearted and always puts the well-being of her teammates first. Reputation: The Nameless are feared and often looked down upon by other military units due to their reputation as a group of misfits and criminals. However, their effectiveness in battle and their ability to carry out near-impossible missions gradually earns them a grudging respect. Despite the risks they face, the Nameless are determined to prove their worth and fight for a cause larger than themselves. Symbolism: The concept of "The Nameless" symbolizes the themes of redemption, identity, and the struggle for recognition. Each member of the squad has lost their name and identity in the eyes of society, but through their actions, they forge a new sense of self and purpose. Their journey is one of reclaiming their honor and finding a place where they truly belong.

Hobbies part 1

1. Weapon Maintenance and Customization: Imca spends a significant amount of her time working on her weapon, the "Var" (Valkyrian Annihilation Reactor). This activity is almost a form of meditation for her, allowing her to channel her emotions—especially her anger and desire for revenge—into something constructive. She is constantly fine-tuning and upgrading the Var to make it more powerful, reflecting her relentless drive to achieve her goals. 2. Solitude and Reflection: While not a hobby in the conventional sense, Imca often seeks solitude to reflect on her past, her mission, and the lives she's lost. These moments of introspection are crucial for her, as they help her process her trauma and stay focused on her objectives. She might be found sitting quietly, perhaps near a campfire or on the edge of a battlefield, lost in thought. 3. Crafting and Tinkering: Imca's skills with machinery and weapons suggest she might have an interest in crafting and tinkering with various tools and equipment. This likely extends beyond just her weapon, as she may occasionally repair or modify other gear for her squadmates. This practical skill set is something she developed out of necessity but also serves as a quiet passion of hers. 4. Strategic Planning: Imca is not just a fighter; she's also a thinker. She might spend time studying maps, analyzing battle reports, or devising strategies for upcoming missions. This isn't just a duty for her; it's something she does out of a genuine interest in military tactics and a desire to be prepared for any scenario. 5. Collecting and Analyzing Enemy Technology: Imca's interest in weapons and machinery might extend to collecting and analyzing enemy equipment. She could be intrigued by how the enemy's weapons work, breaking them down to understand their strengths and weaknesses. This could be seen as a hobby that aligns with her goal of creating the perfect weapon.

Hobbies part 2

6. Physical Training: To keep herself in top combat shape, Imca likely dedicates time to rigorous physical training. This might not be a traditional "hobby," but for someone as driven as Imca, pushing her physical limits and staying in peak condition could be something she finds satisfying and important for her mental well-being. 7. Drawing or Sketching Designs: Imca might have a creative side that manifests in drawing or sketching, particularly when it comes to designing modifications for her weapon or imagining new types of machinery. These sketches could be rough and functional, serving more as blueprints than artistic expressions, but they reflect her inventive mind. 8. Quiet Observation of Nature: Despite her tough exterior, Imca might find solace in quietly observing nature, especially in moments when she's alone. This could involve sitting in silence, watching the landscape, the sky, or the wildlife around her. These moments could provide her with a rare sense of peace and a brief escape from her thoughts of vengeance. 9. Reading (Technical Manuals or War Histories): Imca might indulge in reading, particularly material that could help her in her mission. This could include technical manuals, weapon schematics, or even historical accounts of battles and tactics. Reading would be a way for her to gain knowledge and improve her skills, aligning with her practical and focused personality.

VAR (Imca's weapon) part 1

Imca's weapon, known as the "VAR" (Valkyrian Annihilation Reactor), is a distinctive and powerful piece of machinery that she has personally crafted and continually upgrades. The VAR is not just a weapon; it's a physical manifestation of Imca's determination, technical skill, and her deep-seated desire for revenge against the Valkyria. Design and Appearance: Size and Structure: The VAR is a massive, multi-barreled weapon that resembles a large, futuristic anti-tank cannon. It is almost as tall as Imca herself and is designed to be carried on her back when not in use. The weapon's size and weight require significant strength and endurance to wield effectively, showcasing Imca's physical capabilities. Barrels: The front of the VAR features multiple barrels arranged in a rotating configuration, similar to a Gatling gun. This design allows for rapid fire and the ability to unleash a powerful barrage of shots in quick succession. Each barrel is thick and reinforced, suggesting the weapon can handle high-powered ammunition. Reactor Core: At the heart of the VAR is the Valkyrian Annihilation Reactor, which serves as the weapon's power source. This core glows with an ominous blue or violet light, indicating the immense energy it harnesses. The reactor is based on Valkyrian technology, which is highly advanced and dangerous, adding an element of risk to using the weapon. Ammunition Feed: The VAR is equipped with an extensive ammunition feed system, often visible as a large belt or drum attached to the side or back of the weapon. This allows for continuous fire, making it highly effective in sustained combat situations. Customization: Imca constantly tinkers with the VAR, adding new parts, reinforcing its structure, and upgrading its capabilities. These modifications are apparent in the weapon's somewhat patchwork appearance, with different materials and components coming together in a functional yet rugged design.

VAR (Imca's weapon) part 2

Functionality: -Anti-Tank Capabilities: The VAR is primarily designed as an anti-tank weapon, capable of piercing through the toughest armor with ease. Its high-caliber rounds are devastating against both vehicles and heavily fortified positions, making Imca a crucial asset in battles involving armored enemies. Long-Range and Rapid Fire: While the VAR excels in close to mid-range combat, it also has long-range capabilities, allowing Imca to take out targets from a distance. The rotating barrels and advanced targeting systems give it a high rate of fire, making it effective in both offense and defense. Recoil and Weight: Due to its size and power, the VAR has significant recoil, which Imca compensates for with her strength and skill. The weapon’s weight also means that it is not easily portable, and Imca has to be selective about when and where she deploys it. Symbolism: The VAR is more than just a weapon; it symbolizes Imca's relentless pursuit of vengeance and her commitment to destroying the Valkyria who destroyed her village. The fact that she built and continually upgrades the VAR herself reflects her self-reliance, technical expertise, and the personal connection she has to this mission. The VAR (Valkyrian Annihilation Reactor) is not only a formidable ranged weapon but also features a large, imposing blade attached to it, making it a versatile tool for both long-range and close-quarters combat. This blade adds to the weapon's fearsome appearance and enhances Imca's combat capabilities. Design and Appearance of the Blade: Size and Placement: The blade is massive, proportionate to the size of the VAR itself. It is typically mounted underneath the main barrels of the weapon, running parallel to them. The blade's length extends well beyond the front of the weapon, making it effective for slashing or thrusting attacks when Imca engages in melee combat.

VAR (Imca's weapon) part 3

Shape: The blade has a broad, slightly curved design with a sharp, reinforced edge. Its shape is reminiscent of a large combat knife or a cleaver, designed to maximize cutting power. The curvature gives it the ability to slice through armor and obstacles with ease, while the pointed tip allows for powerful thrusting attacks. Material: The blade is forged from a highly durable and dense metal, likely incorporating Valkyrian technology or materials to enhance its strength and cutting ability. The metal has a dark, almost matte finish, with faint traces of wear from battle, giving it a rugged and battle-worn appearance. Engravings or Markings: Along the blade, there might be subtle engravings or markings, possibly related to Darcsen symbols or technical details related to the weapon’s construction. These markings could be functional, such as measuring indicators or design notes, or they could hold personal significance to Imca, representing her connection to her people and her mission. Functionality: The blade is not just an aesthetic addition but is fully functional in combat. Imca uses it to deal with enemies in close quarters when firing the VAR is impractical. The blade’s size and weight mean that it can easily slice through both flesh and armor, making it a deadly tool in Imca's hands. It also serves a dual purpose by helping to balance the weapon’s overall weight and structure, adding stability during firing. Integration with the VAR: The blade is seamlessly integrated into the VAR's design, ensuring that it does not hinder the weapon’s primary function as a ranged anti-tank gun. Imca has likely customized the blade’s attachment point to ensure that it remains secure even under the intense recoil of the VAR’s firing mechanism.
