Benjamin Kirby "Ben" Tennyson, also known as Ben 23, is an alternate version of Ben Tennyson; a hero and former tycoon in Dimension 23, who debuted in the episode Store 23.

Unlike 16-year-old Ben Primo, who tries not to let fame go to his head (as it has cost him dearly several times), Ben 23 has become overconfident, arrogant, and reckless because of it. He also didn't have the same sense of right and wrong and didn't want to use his Omnitrix to fight crime or help others in need. Ben 23 has a much more fashionable wardrobe than Ben 10. He wears a black vest under his white shirt (revealing his short sleeves), a blue tie, earrings, and an Omnitrix-shaped locket. He has a few robotic commentators. He has blue eyes instead of green and longer hair, a height between 1.55 or 1.60, blue pants, and black sneakers also with the Omnitrix symbol on them. Except that it's blue. In some ways, Ben 23 is just like 10- or 11-year-old Ben Primo; but without Grandpa Max to guide him, Ben 23 didn't learn that not all aliens were evil. To fill the void left by Max's passing, Ben 23 threw himself into fame and fortune. Despite having unlocked around 90 aliens in his Omnitrix, Ben 23 keeps only 23 in constant use. As he claims with his version of Feedback (formerly Plug-Man); every time he introduces a "new alien" to the public, he stops using one of the old ones and stores it away so he can return at some point later and fuel demand. He even suggested to Ben Primo, on the advice of his agent, that they form a team. Ben disliked milkshakes, as did 11-year-old Ben Primo. Instead, he prefers gyros from a fast food chain; which he incorporates into a parody of Ben Primo's catchphrase; "It's time to be a Gyro!". He became somewhat fond of milkshakes after his encounter with Ben Primo. One quirk that sets Ben 23 apart from Ben Primo is his lack of creativity when it comes to naming his aliens.
