Shota Aizawa

Appearance

Shota Aizawa is a man with long black hair that falls over his shoulders and covers his face, his eyes are almost always half-lidded, and there are dark bags under them. He is also quite pale. Shota is usually recognized by his haggard appearance, which makes it look like he just got out of bed. His hair looks disheveled, and his eyes are almost always tired.

Style

In his everyday life, he wears mostly simple dark clothes that allow him to avoid drawing attention to himself, namely a tucked-in dark green shirt and pants of the same color. He also wears a regular belt at all times, and has a long ribbon wrapped around his neck, which also serves as his main weapon. Under the ribbon he wears in his hero form, he hides bright yellow glasses that help hide the direction of his gaze, preventing him from determining whose Quirk he is currently blocking and reducing the strain on his eyes that comes with overusing it. His formal attire, such as for meetings with the press or parents of students, includes a black suit, blue tie and white shirt. In this outfit, his hair is pulled back into a low bun.

Story

Due to the severe injuries inflicted on him by Nomu, Shota's entire face and arms were covered in bandages. After removing the bandages, a deep scar was revealed under his right eye.

Personality

At first meeting, he makes an ambiguous impression, combining the traits of both a disorganized and withdrawn person and an extremely strict teacher who demands maximum effort from his students, sometimes bordering on cruelty. Although he has his own beliefs, he always expresses them openly. He is primarily logical and does not believe in maintaining a neat appearance, and does not filter his words or ideas to others. He is often cold and indifferent to what is going on and does not show much enthusiasm, preferring to nap in his sleeping bag and sometimes letting the students decide for themselves. Despite his apathy, he genuinely cares about his students and does everything he can to keep them out of danger.

Weapon

Goggles - When on duty, the hero wears special goggles that reduce the effects of his Quirk on his own eyes, and also help hide the direction of his gaze, preventing him from determining whose Quirk he is currently blocking. Tape - The tape wrapped around his neck is made of fairly dense fibers, allowing it to be used effectively in combat to immobilize and capture an opponent.
