Enrico Pucci

Origin of the character

Enrico Pucci (エンリコ・プッチ, Enriko Putchi?) is the main antagonist of JoJo's Bizarre adventure: Stone Ocean. Working as a priest at Green Dolphin Street Prison, he aspires to implement a plan formulated long ago by DIO to reach paradise.

Appearance

Pucci is a dark-skinned man of average to above average height and has a slim to athletic build. He has very short white hair. His facial hair grows in a complex pattern, with two zig-zag chains running from his eyebrows to his hairline and thin sideburns, extending to the edge of the middle of his jaw. She wears a thin, black dress, in the style of a priest's attire. A golden cross is printed on the top, spanning her chest and running along its entire length, with two double golden crosses on the wrists of her sleeves.

Personality

Priest Enrico Pucci is a fanatic committed to a heretical notion of the Will of God and DIO's plan. As a teenager, he was a kind-hearted young man, who tried his best to follow his faith as a future priest. When a tragic series of events led to the suicide of his beloved sister Pearl, he fell into despair and would later come to see DIO, whom he had previously met. Enrico Pucci later became a radical believer after frequenting DIO, whose main creed was that humans were powerless against many forces that governed the universe. Among these forces, God's Will and Fate—which Pucci dubs as "Gravity"—were the most frequently mentioned. Pucci's past history, replete with near-impossible coincidences and twists of fate, as well as the death of Pearl whose responsibility could not be placed on anyone in particular, would be the likely beginnings of this belief. Prone to talkativeness, a lingering effect of his many debates with DIO, he often inserts multiple random tidbits to drive his point home: observing Miraschon trying to steal a golden cross, Pucci explained how Miraschon could not escape his nature; similarly Pucci expounded to Jolyne that certain species of reckless swallows died young without realizing their own limitations, as a metaphor for the Joestar Family. Mixing this belief with DIO's plan to "reach Heaven", Pucci sought to make all humans aware of their predestined paths through the power of Made in Heaven, and give them the "resolve" to accept their fate, which he termed as true "happiness". Essentially, he wished to make humans realize that they could not fight against fate, and make them submit to remain at peace with their status as Fate's subordinates.

About stand

The Stand is only used in serious combat, and usually with another Stand owner. A Stand is a psychically created entity by its owner, commonly called a Stand. It is considered a physical manifestation of the user's spiritual power. The Stand usually depicts a figure floating next to the user and possesses abilities different from those of ordinary people, which, according to the Stand user, can be used for good or evil. Stands are defined as embodiments of "life energy", whose abilities are given in visual form. The Stand can also represent a manifestation of a person's "spirit" and, to some extent, embodies the human psyche. Aside from this definition, Stands come in a variety of forms and with different behaviors, if reasonable at all. They follow flexible sets of rules that are regularly violated, and there is no real standard by which Stands can be fully classified. Such as the embodiment of psycho.

Pucci stand

Whitesnake is Pucci's basic Stand, with which he can steal up to two DISCS from individuals, one DISC containing the target's Stand while the other DISC contains the target's memories. His stand consists of having the ability to extract from his victim, his stand power and his memories, although he can easily return them.

Personal history (past/before)

Pucci was born with a malformation in his left foot, but despite this physical defect, he could walk without any problem. Coming from a fairly influential Italian family, Pucci did not have to go through financial difficulties and was a good-looking person who was appreciated by everyone. In addition, in his family, religion was a traditional vocation among its members, so his parents looked favorably on his decision to enter the priesthood, a goal that he achieved when he turned fifteen. One day, while sweeping the floors of the church, he tripped over the feet of DIO who was hiding under a table hiding from the sunlight; Pucci was frightened when he felt DIO touch his deformed foot. At first he did not give it any importance, but when he took off his shoe, he noticed that the malformation of his foot had been healed. At the same time, a tearful woman comes to the confessional seeking advice. Choosing to hear the confession in place of the absent Church father, Enrico listens as the woman confesses to having switched her sickly and dying baby with a fraternal twin from a family. When he asks her about the family's last name, Pucci is completely shocked to learn that it is his own family. Not long after, Enrico's sister Perla begins a relationship with a part-time man named Wes Bluemarine. The revelation leaves Pucci in shock, as his sister was unwittingly having sex with her twin brother, whom she believed to be dead. Despite this shocking discovery, Pucci could not tell anyone because it was a secret confession.

Details

Pucci and his brother Weather are rare examples of mixed-race twins; fraternal twins born to mixed-race parents. This is why Pucci's skin tone is much darker than Weather's. To calm himself, he says he counts prime numbers, sometimes doubting whether a name is prime or not. He is allergic to shellfish.
