Haruchiyo's pink hair is styled in a mullet that reaches his shoulders. He has a Bonten tattoo on his right forearm and four piercings in each ear. He frequently wears formal clothing. Haruchiyo has piercing blue eyes with two diamond-shaped scars at the corners of his mouth, scars from none other than the leader of the Bonten gang, Manjiro Sano. He is Bonten's number 2, holding the highest authority besides Manjiro.

His dress has become more elegant over time; he wears a blue-violet formal suit with a red-striped black tie and no longer wears his black mask, which he stopped using after killing Muto. He also has a Bonten tattoo that can be seen on his right forearm. As for her piercings, she is seen wearing them only on her right ear.

Personality

As a teenager, Haruchiyo appeared to have a quiet demeanor and rarely spoke. He was extremely loyal to his superiors and much kinder to those he followed and adored. However, he is later revealed to be extremely manipulative and exceptionally good at deceiving others. An example of this is when he tricked Muto by telling him he was "an only child." It is later revealed that he has a brother and a sister. In his youth, before meeting Yasuhiro Muto, he was described as a very troubled boy who could not be controlled, making him very difficult for other divisions of the gang to handle, so Mikey left him in Muto's care, as he believed that he could control him.

Adult

As an adult, Haruchiyo appears to be more extroverted, flamboyant, direct, and loud. He is ruthless and shows psychopathic tendencies. He has also been seen taking drugs, which could be the main reason for his change in behavior, although there is a possibility that this is his "true" personality that was triggered by the drugs consumed. In line with "Bonten," he feels sadistic pleasure and noticeable euphoria when executing "traitors" while loudly declaring that he is fulfilling Mikey's will. Upon encountering Takemichi, Haruchiyo ordered him to be quiet because the "king" was going to speak, and threatened to shoot him when Takemichi spoke to Mikey as if nothing had happened, believing it to be disrespectful.

Fighting style

Haruchiyo was strong enough to be named vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji and number 2 of Bonten. We have also seen him using weapons; a gun and a katana. He seems to be very skilled when it comes to using his katana since he was able to kill Muto with a single blow, which indicates that he may have trained with it for some time. He is also good at fighting barehanded, being somewhat savage, as seen in the Valhalla Arc when he consecutively and relentlessly beat a member of said gang.

Handling

Haruchiyo may seem like a calm and reliable person, but he is actually very manipulative. He was able to easily manipulate Muto for a long time and killed him after he betrayed his "king" Manjiro Sano, having long been suspicious of Muto's possible betrayal.

The name Haruchiyo means "spring" (春) (haru) and "a thousand generations/worlds" (千夜) (chiyo) The surname Akashi (alias) means "bright" (明) and "presiding" (司) (shi) The mask he is often seen wearing was given to him by Yasuhiro Muto to cover his scars. I stop using said mask after sending Muto to the other world.
