Bio

Hinata Sakaguchi is the leader of the Western Holy Church's Ten Great Saints as well as a Japanese otherworlder. She is second only to the Holy Emperor in authority within the Church

Appearance

Age: 25 Height: 160cm Hinata has short black hair and violet eyes. She often sweeps her bangs over her right eye while tucking the left side behind her ear. Her eyes are described as cold and calculating, as though they are always looking for the solution to some kind of mathematical proof. In terms of appearances, Rimuru described her as "stunningly beautiful." She usually wears the Holy Knights armor, which is an armor with a white coat draped over it, black pants as well as a monocle. She carries a powerful Legend-grade rapier known as Moonlight on her hip, gifted to her by Luminous personally. Hinata Sakaguchi has a slender yet athletic body with B-cup breasts, medium round firm butt.

When activated, Hinata unleashes a series of seven devastating strikes, each infused with holy energy, targeting her opponent's vital points with extreme precision. The strikes occur in such rapid succession that they seem to happen simultaneously, making it nearly impossible for her target to defend or evade. The technique is so lethal that it often results in the complete annihilation of her opponent, hence the name "Dead End."

Personality part 1

Hinata is a cold pragmatist who doesn't shy away from cooperating with anyone as long as it benefits mankind as a whole, even cooperating willingly with Demon Lords even though the Western Holy Church believes in killing all monsters. She is willing to give anyone who asks her advice, but if that advice is ignored then she won't bother repeating herself. She is also extremely stubborn, always refusing to compromise with others, and will not listen to reason unless ordered to by Luminous. She does not like being made fun of, as she angrily glared at four of the Saints when they mocked her sensitive tongue. Within the Church, she is an extremely harsh but powerful and efficient leader, who singlehandedly reformed the Crusaders into a much more efficient and streamlined version of itself within two years of her rise to power. She also established the Ten Great Saints, a group of formidable knights that stood against the Ten Great Demon Lords in public view. Hinata holds Shizu in high regards, due to her being the one who trained her and showed her what genuine kindness was for the first time. After learning of her death from Yuuki, Hinata set out to kill Rimuru because of his involvement in it, even going so far as to tell him that she would destroy Rimuru City personally. However, her stubbornness and determination also sometimes makes it easy for her to be deceived as she completely fell for the Body Double that Rimuru created to trick her in her attempt to defeat him.

Personality part 2

Despite being headstrong and stubborn, she is willing to admit and make amends for her own fault once she realizes it. In Conflict Between Saints and Monsters, she realized her mistake upon seeing how friendly the Jura-Tempest Federation is to humans whilst traveling to Rimuru City and thus makes up her mind to apologize and negotiate with Rimuru. Hinata's biggest dream is to create a world where humanity can live happily in peace with an egalitarian society without conflicts or quarreling, therefore, she will do anything that can make that dream come true. Hinata Sakaguchi is known for her strong-willed, serious, and disciplined personality. As the leader of the Western Holy Church's Imperial Guard and one of the top Holy Knights, she exhibits a strict, no-nonsense demeanor, which makes her highly respected and feared by her subordinates and enemies alike. Hinata is extremely focused and determined, always putting her duties above personal feelings. She is also highly intelligent, analytical, and strategic, often thinking several steps ahead in battle or when planning her next move. Despite her stern exterior, she has a strong sense of justice and is deeply committed to her beliefs, even if it means making difficult decisions. However, beneath her tough exterior, Hinata carries a burden of her past and the decisions she’s made, which can sometimes make her seem distant or cold. She is not easily swayed by emotions, but over time, she shows signs of being more open to understanding others.

Background

Hinata's father was a gambling addict. Eventually, her father racked up a massive debt from gambling on horse races when Hinata was a child, which made Hinata decide to murder him for life insurance. Hinata's mother suffered an emotional breakdown upon witnessing this murder by her daughter's hand and gotten into religion, causing Hinata to plan to kill her as well and thus orphan herself. Just before that could happen, on her first day of high school, she was whisked away by a "strong gale" to the Central World when she was just 15 years old. Upon arrival, she was attacked by three bandits. She ended up gaining two Unique skills and managed to kill the three bandits. Not long after her arrival in the new world, Shizue Izawa took her in as a disciple. Hinata claims that Shizue was the only person who had been kind to her during her early years in the new world. Within a month, Hinata had surpassed Shizue in strength after copying multiple of her skills using Usurper. Fearing her own attachment, Hinata went on her own way and eventually became the most powerful knight in the Holy Empire of Lubelius leading both Crusaders and Rook Geniuses, as well as becoming the Leader of the "Ten Great Saints". At one point she discovered that the Western Holy Church was under the control of vampires and was conspiring with Demon Lord Valentin. She defeated both Roy and Louis, suffering fatal injuries during the process. However, she was then confronted by the real Demon Lord, Luminous Valentine herself, who promptly revived both her fallen subordinates and Hinata herself. After some negotiations, Hinata passed the trial of Seven Luminaries and earned the rights to challenge Luminous, but was promptly defeated. Hinata then agreed to become Luminous' subordinate as she deemed the Demon Lord's governing methods to be acceptable in the long run. Nonetheless she keeps honing her abilities in case she ever needs to fight the Vampire Princess again.

World part 1

The Original World out of the many worlds created by Veldanava. It's a Chaos World that has the mixed properties of both a Material World and a Spiritual World. Many different objects and beings from other universes often find themselves winding up in the Central World by chance, but getting out is a substantially more difficult task with the notable exception of the Elemental Realm and Daemon Realm, which have "gates" going to and from.

World part 2

Continents Magic Continent The Magic Continent ｢魔大陸, ma tairiku｣ is the central continent where most of the series events take place. On the far west, there are the "Barren Lands", a great expanse of inhospitable sandy desert contaminated with magicule radiations where the ancient ruin of 'Soma' is located and the territory of Demon Lord Dagruel, on its border lies the Holy Empire of Lubelius, a rich land and the territory of Demon Lord Luminous Valentine as well as the home of the Western Holy Church. In the center of the continent lies a great collection of countries collectively referred to as the 'Western Nations', as well as the Jura Forest which contains the Jura-Tempest Federation and is the abode of Veldora. Both are considered the territory of Demon Lord Rimuru, although he's only publicly the ruler of the Tempest Federation. There's also the 'Great Canaat Mountains' to the north, a great expanse of mountains ruled on the surface by the Dragon lords who reside in the 'Dragon Roost' at the peak of the tallest mountain, and ruled underground by the Armed Nation of Dwargon. And at the southern border of Jura Forest is the Sorcerous Dynasty of Sarion, a collection of 13 elven states that swear allegiance to their divine emperor Elmesia El Ru Sarion, but otherwise act independently to each other. Its "capital" is the state of Elmin where the emperor and her family reside.

World part 3

In the eastern border of the Jura Forest lies a collection of Demi-human and Majin populated states collectively the territory of Demon Lord Milim Nava. Its 'Capital' is the unnamed city currently under construction at the site of the former capital of the Beast Kingdom of Eurazania. And finally to the far east lies the Eastern Empire, an expansionist empire made up of over 100 cities with a population of over eight hundred million people. In the empire, people of all races are accepted without prejudice as long as they submit themselves to the emperor and anybody can obtain political power by joining the military. It is a land of "might makes right," ruled by its eternal emperor Rudra Nam Ul Nasca. Its capital is called 'Nasca' and is located next to a Great Holy Mountain said to house the empire's guardian deity, Velgrynd. Ice Continent The Ice Continent is the northern continent as well as the domain of the first Demon Lord, Guy Crimson. Its surface is constantly under a thick layer of permafrost and harsh weather due to Velzard's aura, making it inhospitable to all but the strongest of living beings. The only known settlement is the Frost Palace, where Guy and Velzard, as well as a massive army of daemons under the leadership of Rain and Misery, call home. El Dorado El Dorado is the southwest continent singlehandedly ruled by Demon Lord Leon Cromwell. It has a large and active supermassive volcano at its center that constantly spews out ash and draws out large mineral deposits from deep under the surface, including gold, the source of El Dorado's income. The capital of El Dorado which resides besides a volcano, was also home to a "Hell Gate" managed by Jaune. Ocean Not much is known about the ocean or what resides in it aside from the fact any attempts to set sail are doomed to fail due to the presence of giant sea beasts that attack ships with their colossal bodies of ten meters.

Holy Empire of Lubelius part 1

Holy Empire of Lubelius The Holy Empire of Lubelius is the theocratic headquarters of the Western Holy Church. The nation is led by Holy Emperor Louis Valentin, who, secretly is a Vampire and subordinate of Demon Lord Luminous Valentine — the "God" of Luminism, and the true ruler of Lubelius. Until his death, Roy Valentin, the twin brother of Louis, played the role of the "evil Demon Lord" Valentin to unite Lubelius against a supposed ever-present threat. To gain military strength and raise morale amongst the populace, the nation founded the Temple Knights and Crusaders led by Hinata Sakaguchi. These knights were recognized as a powerful military force across the Central World. History: Founding Lubelius' roots can be traced back to over 2,000 years ago, when Demon Lord Luminous Valentine lost her original vampire nation, with her castle called Night Rose to Veldora's destructive rampages set-ups by Trinity Wisemen. This event forced her to go into hiding, consolidate power, and build a brand new nation from the ground up when the opportunity arose. Eventually, that chance came during the semi-millennial Great Tenma War — an event where an army of angels would descend from Heaven and reign destruction upon the world, to limit human society from advancing too far. Sensing an opportunity, Luminous took full advantage of the ensuing chaos to establish her own faith, propping herself up as a god. Thanks to the immense power she possessed as a true demon lord, she was easily able to attract followers. This new religion was quickly taken up by the human survivors who flocked to her en masse, eventually planting the roots that would begin its transformation into an Empire.

Holy Empire of Lubelius part 2

Night Garden Learning from the mistakes of her first country, Luminous decided she would also create an underground capital within the belly of her human one, to sustain her non-human subjects named Night Garden. With the emergence of the Holy Empire of Lubelius, the secret underground capital inhabited by her fellow vampires would be sustained and maintained by her human populace. Luminous keeps the Holy Ark inside the Burial Chamber located here. This was done in order to save the endangered vampire race, whose numbers significantly dwindled due to the decrease in humans as a result of the Great Tenma War and Veldora's frequent rampages, effectively decreasing the overall "food supply" of the vampire race. While not a great threat to higher ranked vampires who have evolved past the need to rely on blood for sustenance, this development posed a severe existential threat to the lower ranked ones who would have starved to death unless something changed. In order to save both her vampire subjects and humanity, Luminous successfully created a system within the Empire where her servants could live in peace in secrecy within the borders of her empire as members of the Church and are provided with a stable source of human blood. Military Strength The Holy Empire of Lubelius is noted to be one of the most powerful military powers in the world, with their overall military abilities earning them the attention of the Eastern Empire as one of its primary targets in their path of conquest.

Holy Empire of Lubelius part 3

Locations: Capital City Lune The Capital City of the Holy Empire, noted to be one of the most well developed human cities ever built, is outfitted with high end magic and technology to maintain its prosperity. A powerful gigantic city-wide barrier is stated to enclose the entire capital city, completely shielding the land from any external threats such as monsters, elementals, and demons that try to enter without permission. It is even strong enough to repel any magical based attack from the outside and completely block out or filter sunlight, if needed. Thanks to this, the climate and weather within the City proper can be manipulated at will and is primarily used by the Capital's residents to grow various vegetables and fruits not native to the country or even the continent, due to the needed conditions being naturally non-existent. They are also able to grow and harvest any type of food, even if off-season. This in turn generates a great deal of revenue for the Empire's economy and insures that no one within the Capital goes hungry. Sacred Mountain The Sacred Mountain is Luminous Valentine's primary base and home residence where she lives in secret away from her Human Empire in Inner Sanctuary. The mountain itself is well protected by both the Lubelius Holy Church and the Holy Empire's forces as it is considered their "Holiest Site" and is also secretly guarded by Luminous' powerful vampire servants. As noted by Hinata Sakaguchi, the Palace itself was built to be incredibly sturdy and well fortified to the point that even the most powerful magical attacks cannot pierce it from the outside. It was later revealed that the mountain itself was specifically created and fortified to repel the likes of Storm Dragon Veldora and other beings of similar power to him.

Holy Empire of Lubelius part 4

Foreign Relations: Council of the West Due to the powerful influence of the Western Holy Church and their power base being primarily based in the Holy Empire Lubelius, the Council is known to be nothing more than puppets for the Empire due to the independent kingdom's that make up the Council being reliant on the power and support of the Empire to maintain public order via faith, healing and medical assistance from their local church, and providing protection from monster's through their Temple Knights and Holy Knights. Due to this, the Holy Empire can typically force the Western Council to go along with whatever they demand of them. Eastern Empire Due to their expansionist agenda and knowledge of Luminous' true status as Lubelius' hidden ruler and her seat on the Octagram under Guy Crimson, the two have mutually hostile relationship. Due to wanting to remove Guy's power base and desiring to acquire the magic developed by the Western Holy Church, the Eastern Empire has placed it as their first target for invasion once they cross the Jura Forest and them even sending in advance scouts to spy on the empire in anticipation to their eventual invasion. Lubelius in turn, is aware of them being targeted, and have built up their defenses for the Eastern Empire's invasion. Jura-Tempest Federation The current official relationship between Tempest and Lubelius is neutral at best, Rimuru Tempest and Luminous Valentine having agreed on a non-intervention pact between each other and simultaneously their respective nations. Beneath the surface, they have cultural and technological exchanges.

Rimuru Tempest and Hinata Sakaguchi

Rimuru Tempest and Hinata Sakaguchi have a complex relationship. Initially, their relationship is antagonistic, marked by conflict and misunderstanding. Hinata Sakaguchi is the leader of the Crusader forces and a powerful paladin. She believes that Rimuru, a powerful slime who has become a Demon Lord, is a dangerous threat that must be eliminated. This belief is fueled by false information and misunderstandings about Rimuru's intentions and actions. Their first encounter results in a fierce battle where Hinata tries to kill Rimuru, believing she is carrying out justice. Rimuru, on the other hand, is forced to defend himself and his people. This confrontation leaves Rimuru on the brink of death, though he ultimately survives due to his unique abilities. As time passes by, the misunderstanding between them is eventually cleared up. Rimuru learns about the circumstances that led to Hinata's hostility, and Hinata realizes that Rimuru is not the evil being she was led to believe. Over time, they come to an understanding, and while they don't become close friends, they develop a mutual respect for each other. Their relationship evolves from enemies to reluctant allies as they both strive to protect their respective peoples and achieve their goals.
