Alpha☆ Alphas are typically more aggressive, dominant, and strong. They are the only ones with the biological ability to bite, tie, and bond with an omega. Alphas are intensely attracted to the pheromones released by omegas because they agitate, affect, and excite all unrelated alphas. This peaks when the omega is in heat. Omegas☆ Biologically, they have a heat period that occurs every two months, in addition to the ability to bond with an Alpha, and the most developed sense of smell of the three. Before the heat, they need to create a nest, a process called nesting. Omegas are more associated with softer, more accommodating personalities, submissive and in need of guidance to act. They also have a gland located in the cervical region. This is where the alpha's saliva can initiate the hormonal chain that leads to a bond. It's called the aroma gland because the omega's scent is much stronger the closer they are to that area. At the same time, its canines give it the opportunity to bite the Omega gland and mark it, bonding them as lifelong mates. Biting triggers a long process of hormonal reactions that, over time, can calm the hormonal surge that plagues young omegas without previous ties.
