Tom is now homeless and trying to find a new house to rent. He checks several houses before eventually giving up and deciding to live in a cardboard box. Meanwhile, Edd, Matt and Tord are watching the movie mentioned in the previous episode. Edd reflects on what happened to Tom, but Tord quickly changes the subject.Tom meets a homeless man who convinces him that he is making the right decision before inviting him to perform at the rat puppet theater. When he looks up, Tom is gone. Tord escapes from Edd and Matt to his/Tom's old room. He flicks the lever hidden behind the portrait, the button behind his portrait, revealing a hidden room filled with advanced technology and weapons. He comes over to press the big button in the center of the room. However, before he can do so, Edd interrupts him. He tries to convince Edd that the room is just a laundry room, but Edd runs past and starts pressing buttons, causing objects throughout the house to come to life and act as weapons. Matt arrives and joins Edd, pushing buttons. He tries to press the big button, but Tord punches him in the face to stop him. Matt is clearly in pain until Tord offers to take them for ice cream to make him feel better. However, Edd begins to suspect Tord. Tom goes to the developer and spends all his money to buy a house, surprising the man in the office with his large amount of money.The others go shopping when Tord leaves, pretending to answer the phone (using a banana as a fake phone). Edd asks Matt if he thinks Tord is acting suspiciously, but he is ignored as Matt says he is "on a banana."

Plot:

Tom leaves the building of the real estate agency when he notices a wanted poster on the wall. He runs back into the house, and Edd and Matt decide to follow him. When Tom gets home, he catches Tord about to press the button and asks him about the secret room and the wanted list. Tord reveals that the big red button is just for handing out his favorite hat, but then turns to press another button, lowering him into the cockpit of a robot modeled after him.The robot collides with Eduardo before launching a rocket into Eduardo's house. Edd and Matt return and question Tord about his actions, and Tord reveals that he was just using them to get his giant robot back. Tom tries to throw one of Thord's chairs to defeat him, shouting "Sit down!" as he throws it. Tord launches a rocket in response, destroying the house. Edd and Matt are horrified by the wreckage of the house before seeing a body similar to Tom's in the crater. Tord starts to fly away, but stops when the robot starts punching itself. He looks down and sees Matt at the control panel, pressing buttons, forcing the robot to attack itself. Edd joins them before they are interrupted by Eduardo, who is grieving for John's body. Edd and Matt realize that John died, not Tom, before Tord destroys the control panel and flies away. Suddenly, Tom pulls himself out from under the rubble of the house with his harpoon gun. I'M NOT YOUR FRIEND!" , and shoots at Tord, damaging the robot and causing it to crash against a nearby cliff. Tord is soon discovered in the wreckage by two men (Paul and Patrick). He stands on the hillside looking down at the house before finally leaving. A few days later, Edd delivered a box of ashes from their old house to Tom's new apartment. They discuss Matt, who is currently "renovating" his own apartment with images and statues of himself. Tom and Edd say goodbye to each other when Edd sadly walks out into the hallway, but Matt greets him.

Edd, Tom and Matt sit down at Edd's apartment to watch The Insane Zombie Pirates from Hell 5 when Edd asks Tom why he has black eyes. However, before Tom can answer, he eats a mouthful of popcorn, forcing him to mumble his answer as the camera slowly pulls out and the front door of Edd's apartment closes.After the credits, the Sinister Guy finishes telling the three children the "Eddsworld story" and asks them what they think about it. It turned out that John became a ghost after his death at the hands of the robot Tord. John tries to tell the children that he is fine until he realizes that he is a ghost and is not disappointed.
