Apollon God of the sun (Danmachi)

Appearance

Apollon is a tall, handsome man with blond hair that looks as if sunlight has been condensed into shiny, wavy locks sliding over each other similar to the rays of the afternoon sun and a smile described as being equally bright. In the anime, his hair is scarlet red. He also wears a green laurel wreath on his head.

Personality

Apollon is shown to be extremely persistent once he sets his sights on a person, constantly pursuing them until he can obtain them. On several occasions he attempted to flirt with Hestia while they were in Heaven, causing her to develop a noticeable aberration towards him. Likewise, several of his Familia members were forcibly recruited; at times he went from country to country until they finally joined his Familia. Apollon is shown to be bisexual; regardless of whether it is male or female, he recruits anyone who catches his interest. He particularly likes younger men, whom he tends to favor. On top of that, he is a huge pervert. Aside from eagerly awaiting the moment when Bell would convert to his Familia, he also fantasized about the boy before the War Game. Although his quest to add beautiful members to his Familia was motivated by his degenerate nature, Apollon genuinely cared for and loved them. After they joined his Familia, he treated his members well and bought them expensive, high-quality equipment, and tended to be gentler to those he favored. Throughout his life, Apollon also lost multiple lovers. He mourned and grieved the loss of each one profusely, spending days in grief and carrying around whatever accessories they were accustomed to wearing if they had any.

Skills

Divine Perception: As a God, Apollon possesses supernatural perception. Even without a clue, when his intuition tells him something, he is right. He can also immediately tell when a mortal is telling a lie. However, he cannot distinguish lies from other Gods. Divinity (神威): As a God, Apollon gives off a divine aura that allows mortals to recognize him as a God. He can also release more of his divinity at will to gain a more imposing presence. Arcanum (神の力アルカナム): As a God, Apollon possesses a wide range of divine abilities with the potential to destroy the world if he ever unleashed them. He sealed them away upon descending from Heaven as per the rules of the Gods. Divine Mirror: Apollon is able to create a mirror that allows him to see any place he wishes in the Underworld. Despite no longer being in Heaven, he is allowed to use it without being sent back, though its use is still restricted.
