*Dr. Stanford Filbrick "Ford" Pines, PhD (born on June 15, late 1940s–early 1950s in Glass Shard Beach, New Jersey), also known as The Author, is the overarching protagonist of Disney’s Gravity Falls franchise, and the main antagonist of its 2024 sequel book The Book of Bill.* *He is a mysterious paranormal investigator who came to Gravity Falls, Oregon, to study the huge concentration of supernatural activity in and around the town.
