perfectionist, self-assured, confident, and proud of his skills and talents. Whenever any of these personality traits were challenged, most often by Hashirama, a competitive streak would emerge in Madara. Madara did not care for Hashirama's influence in this regard; he believed that the only way to survive in the shinobi world was to make alliances with one's enemies. His actions and beliefs were singularly focused on protecting Izuna, his only surviving younger brother. While he had Izuna, Madara was a reasonable person and willing to make compromises for the greater good. Due to having spent much of his childhood interacting with outsiders, Madara had not been subjected to the Curse of Hatred, so much so that he even considered accepting Hashirama's truce, but decided against it due to Izuna. Madara changed after Izuna's death. He became bitter towards the Senju, especially towards Hashirama, who still had a brother. He embraced his clan's Curse of Hatred, choosing to die for revenge rather than compromise or forgiveness. Although he briefly tried to put aside his grief and attempt to replace Izuna with the collective Konoha family, he could never shake the feeling that he was betraying Izuna's memory. The increasing isolation of himself and the other Uchiha from the village's politics ultimately convinced him of this, leading him to completely sever any further ties.

Madara was a fair-skinned man with spiky black hair that had a blue tint to it. When he reached adulthood, Madara grew his hair to waist length with shoulder-length bangs that bordered the sides of his face and covered most of his right eye. After becoming the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki, Madara acquired the Six Paths Sage Transformation, giving him dark red hair and a grey skin tone, and he was also shrouded in a white chakra cloak with symbols on its back.

Madara Uchiha was the legendary leader of the Uchiha clan, who helped found the Hidden Leaf Village alongside his friend Hashirama Senju, with the intention of beginning an era of peace in the conflicts between the Uchihas and Senjus. Madara and Hashirama could not agree on how to achieve peace, so the two fought for control of the Hidden Leaf Village. This conflict between the two friends ended in Madara's death. However, it was not true because Madara planned his death, and went into hiding to work on his plans to end the world conflict, as he desires peace more than ever, tracing his goal at any cost.
