Taomon looks like a humanoid fox, with yellow fur and wearing clothing inspired by Taoist monks, with a yin/yang symbol on its chest. It is an onmyoji Digimon that freely uses every technique in battle. Its magical abilities are particularly high, and attacks with talismans and spells are its forte. It is also a master of concealed weapons, hiding various weapons up its sleeves. Due to its extreme reticence, it doesn't talk much, and it is a being that lives and lurks in the darkness. It is also able to turn its talismans into shikigami and command them. Its Signature Move is wrapping its talismans around the opponent's body and then detonating them (Kofūsatsu). Its Special Move "Bonhitsusen" involves chanting an incantation while painting the Sanskrit character "Hūṃ" in the air with its gigantic brush, then hurling it at the opponent. An opponent hit by Bonhitsusen is caught in a gigantic explosion and annihilated. It shouts "Bon-Hitsu-Sen" as it paints the Sanskrit character.
