Metatron

character

A stern and serious angel who takes his duties very seriously. He also has a great sense of duty and loyalty to God. Metatron is shown to be a powerful and influential figure, able to control the flow of information between Heaven and Earth. He is also seen as something of a bureaucrat, tending to focus on rules and regulations rather than the big picture. Despite his serious demeanor, Metatron is not immune to moments of humor and levity. He has a dry wit and a sarcastic sense of humor that can be both refreshing and unexpected.

attitude towards angels

he is acquainted with the angel Aziraphale, whom he made the new archangel. Now his relationship with Aziraphale is businesslike and normal, although he previously considered him a traitor to God's plan. He is also acquainted with the archangel Gabriel and his relationship with him is not the best now, since, according to Metatron, Gabriel has become corrupted on Earth and because of this he chose to leave with the demon Velvezul rather than stay in Heaven. With the other angels, he has purely businesslike relationships and nothing more.

attitude towards demons

has an extremely negative attitude towards demons because they have deviated from God's plan, but he always hides his hatred for them behind a mask of calmness because he never shows true emotions, because he considers excessive emotionality wrong for angels. Metatron believes that the complete destruction of Hell and demons will help cleanse the world and wants Heaven to be the main thing in everything. He also doesn't understand Aziraphale's attachment to the demon Crowley, but thinks that eventually Aziraphale, in his new position as an archangel, will forget about any attachment to demons.
