Shan Yu

PERSONALITY

Shan Yu is one of the most ruthless and merciless villains ever seen in the Disney universe. He proves that no one is inferior to him by killing his enemies in cold blood to prove his strength. He is also shown to be ruthless, even towards defenseless individuals, as evidenced by his murderous grin when he suggests that he will "return" the doll to its owner, as well as it being implied that he killed the doll's owner, as well as her entire village. Shan Yu is also extremely confident, both about himself and his army's strength and superiority, often deliberately allowing his enemies the advantage in order to prove his strength. Cunning, violent, evil, mysterious, dark, and merciless.

SKILLS

Shan Yu is a hardened fighter and a lethal combatant, armed or otherwise, as shown where he overpowers Shang in a fight. He possesses superhuman strength (perhaps second only to Chien Po). He can effortlessly break down a door and simply slice a massive pillar into pieces with his sword. In addition to his strength, he also possesses a superhuman amount of stamina, having survived being buried in an avalanche for what is implied to have been hours with no apparent ill effects, something only 5 other Huns have managed to survive. He specializes in survival, being able to deduce that a doll delivered to him by his falcon came from a village in a nearby mountain pass, where Imperial armies awaited.

A man in his 40s-50s, muscular, mustachioed, black eyes with yellow pupils, white skin, half hair, dark and abundant bald, stocky, dressed in animal skins, has a face, clear sneer and a prominent forehead, suggesting considerable intellect

RELATIONS

Hun Generals: Shan Yu Treats his generals as advisors. They obey Sham Yu and are possibly friends. Hayabusa: Shan Yu holds Hayabusa, his falcon, as the closest thing to him and most worthy of his trust. Huns: Shan Yu leads the Huns; it is unknown how he became their leader. The Emperor of China: Shan Yu only wanted one thing from the emperor. That he kneel before him; thus "giving" him to China. Mulan and Shang: Shan Yu thought that Ping (Mulan) was Shang, it is unknown why; He had a hatred for both of them for stealing his victory; most of it being Mulan who later defeats him.
