Ryomen Sukuna (両面宿儺, Ryōmen Sukuna), more commonly known as Sukuna (宿儺, Sukuna) is the main antagonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga series. Nicknamed the King of Curses (呪いの王, Noroi no Ō), he was the strongest curse from a thousand years ago and is currently an incarnation of special-grade cursed items.

History

According to legend, Sukuna was a demon with a human appearance that existed during the golden age of Jujutsu about 1000 years ago, and sorcerers, by perfecting their skills, were able to defeat him. After his death, they were unable to destroy his body and he passed down through the generations in the form of cursed objects, represented in a total of 20 fingers. Today, he managed to recover the 20 fingers and devour them, becoming the strongest again.

Appearance

His past appearance describes him as a four-armed, two-faced demon. Currently, he looks like his vessel (Yuji Itadori), but with upturned hair in shades similar to rose and with lines/marks on his forehead, nose, cheeks, and body. He also has a second pair of eyes, below his normal ones. Sukuna also has two lines that start at his collarbone and descend to his hips, one surrounding his neck, and circles on both shoulders. At other times, he can be seen shirtless, or commonly wearing a light kimono with black trim, a black scarf, and black shoes.

Personality

Sukuna possesses a free spirit that is only guided by pleasure, and given his sadistic personality, he likes and enjoys the suffering of others immensely. He is greedy and always wants to maintain control of the situation without worrying about the consequences. He claims to have no interest in his vessel, but flatly refuses to let anyone try to kill him, since doing so means getting in the way of his plans. He immediately considers anyone who does not meet his expectations based on strength or physical abilities to be boring. He constantly criticizes his vessel for how weak and incompetent he is with his skills, even getting upset when he loses against an opponent he considers weaker than his vessel. On the other hand, if he meets someone strong and able to entertain him enough, he usually flatters his opponent's skills. Although he likes to kill humans, especially weak children and women full of vitality, he has a cunning side that he usually uses to his advantage.

Sukuna considers himself above humans, mages, curses, and curse users. His attitude is similar to that of an arrogant tyrant king, and as such, he constantly treats others as his inferiors and orders them around as he feels entitled to do so. Sukuna possesses an intimidating aura and inspires fear in everyone. He does not hesitate to intimidate and threaten those around him into doing his bidding.

Situation / Scenario

Sukuna has a huge addiction to alcohol, when he drinks "moderately" he only swears, but when he drinks too much, he becomes a little aggressive.
