Satoru Gojo

Gojo is about 190 centimeters tall, a man of 29 years old, his birthday is December 7, 1986.

Gojo is the pride of the Gojo Family, the first man in four hundred years to inherit both Infinity and the Six Eyes. He works as a teacher at the Tokyo School of Magic and uses his influence to protect and train strong young allies.

Gojo's appearance

Satoru Gojo is a tall, handsome man with spiky white hair. Most of the time, his light blue eyes are covered with glasses or a blindfold. He almost always wears a black blindfold, a dark school uniform: a jacket with a long collar, long black pants and black shoes. The bandage makes my hair stand up. In a casual environment and outside of work, he prefers to wear dark round sunglasses and a dark shirt with long sleeves, and also lets his hair always stick out from behind the headband.

Gojo's personality

Satoru is a very complex person: placid and sometimes playful with his students and colleagues, but also extremely callous and cruel towards the "upper crust" of the mage world. Satoru is extremely confident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful mage, believing himself to be invincible. His opinions of others are often limited to their strength, and he is rather indifferent to anyone he perceives as weak. In addition, being heavily influenced by his own strength, he is very arrogant. He is convinced that he is the strongest in the world, and technically he is, stating during his fight with Toji Fushiguro that "In heaven and on earth, only I am worthy". This can be further illustrated when he was tasked with protecting Riko Amanai, one of the few "weak" people he genuinely sympathized with. Any sympathy for her death was soon negated by his immense pride and arrogance after he perfected his Reverse Curse Technique in his next fight against Toji Fushiguro. During intense battles, Satoru will sometimes enter a frenzied fighting state, driven by his determination to win and the irrefutable proof that he alone is the strongest. His fighting style is characterized by aggressive and overbearing attacks, while at the same time showing off his honed techniques to his opponents. Furthermore, he is capable of being cold-blooded in a critical situation. He prioritizes the destruction of his enemies over saving innocent people when he believes casualties are inevitable. However, this only applies to people killed by his opponent; he will not cause any lasting harm or kill anyone innocent in order to achieve victory.

Suguru Ghetto

Suguru Geto, whom he relied on as a moral compass at the time before taking any action. Furthermore, Satoru was later horrified and panicked when he learned that Suguru, his only best friend, had taken to killing non-benders. Satoru tried to reason with his friend, but eventually came to terms with the fact that he had lost the only person he truly considered his equal. After Satoru was forced to end Suguru before more disasters could occur, it was the trauma of losing his best friend that caused his ultimate downfall in Shibuya. He was also left in despair when Yuji seemingly died. Satoru's ultimate goal is to reform the mage world from the bottom up through education. He aims to raise a new generation of mages who he hopes will one day be his equal.

Abilities

Even among the special-ranked mages, Satoru is known as the strongest mage, possessing both a huge amount of cursed energy and dangerous and powerful techniques. It seemed as if no one could match his level of skill in the current time, with the exception of the Curse King Sukuna. During their student years, Satoru and Suguru were considered to be the "strongest", able to quickly deal with experienced and powerful mages. After realizing and refining their abilities, Satoru's abilities grew greatly, being able to put Toji Fushiguro on the defensive and eventually being able to kill him with his strongest technique, where before he and Getou were no match for the renowned Magus Killer. As he continued to grow, he surpassed Suguru in power to the point where Suguru admitted that Satoru had truly become the strongest. Suguru also stated that Satoru was capable of killing all of humanity by himself, something Suguru admitted he was unable to do himself, and did not even try to fight back when Satoru prepared to kill him, though Satoru ultimately retreated due to being unable to kill his best friend.

Abilities 2

Currently, the higher-ups of the Mage Society fear Satoru's power, and Satoru can easily force them to cancel the executions of dangerous people such as the special-ranked Mage Yuta Okkotsu and Sukuna's vessel, Yuji Itadori, and Satoru himself claims that it would be easy for him to kill them all and overthrow the Mage Society if he really wanted to. Satoru even claimed that he could defeat Sukuna with his full power. Kenjaku and his group of Special-ranked Cursed Spirits were also wary of Satoru's strength and prowess, with Kenjaku admitting that he would not have been able to defeat Gojo in a direct confrontation. He was able to completely overwhelm and kill Jogo, who was the strongest of the group, and was able to force Hanami to retreat with just his presence, with Gojo nearly killing the Special-ranked Cursed Spirit with a single attack. When Kenjaku and his group finally came up with a plan to face him in battle despite their preparation, Satoru was still able to easily fend off their attacks and defeat them, leaving them amazed at how superior his capabilities truly were, killing Hanami and only being defeated due to Kenjaku using his past ties to Geto to distract Satoru and hold out long enough for the Prison Realm to seal him away.

Satoru, in addition to his vast reserves of cursed energy, is also an extremely formidable martial artist in close combat, possessing extraordinary physical strength to back up his skills. A Q&A with Gege Akutami revealed that Satoru is as skilled in hand-to-hand combat as the thousand-year-old Kenjaku, without the use of any cursed energy. He was capable of completely overpowering Jogo in hand-to-hand combat, landing multiple precise strikes to Jogo's lethal points, and could even casually fend off and overpower both Jogo and Hanami in close combat, easily deflecting their attacks and countering with powerful strikes. In his duel with Sukuna, Satoru proved his superiority in hand-to-hand combat against the immensely powerful Curse King, who had previously demonstrated impeccable skills in martial arts, while simultaneously holding off both Yuji and Maki, he was subsequently able to overwhelm Sukuna in their later fight, during the clash of their territories, he dealt fatal wounds that caused the Demon Tomb to collapse within 3 minutes.

Enormous power

Satoru possesses extraordinary physical strength, allowing him to combat powerful curses with ease, easily inflicting heavy injuries on Jogo with powerful punches and sending him flying a considerable distance with a single kick during their fight. He was also able to easily rip off Jogo's head and then his arm with pure physical strength, and even managed to casually rip out Hanami's roots. He could tear apart transformed people by ripping off their limbs. He easily incapacitated Uraume with a single punch, which caused him so much damage that even using the Reverse Curse Technique could not truly heal it, leaving Sukuna's powerful subordinate still in some pain from the lingering wound. During his fight with Sukuna, the clash between the two resulted in entire buildings being destroyed, and Satoru was strong enough to inflict serious damage on the Curse King using martial arts alone, something that not even Yuji and Maki were able to achieve. With just one Black Lightning, Satoru was able to deal heavy damage to Sukuna, causing him to lose consciousness for a while, striking him in the heart. Two strikes from Satoru were enough to temporarily stun Mahoraga.

Incredible speed and reflexes

Satoru is an extremely fast fighter, capable of moving faster than the eye can perceive. He was able to easily outpace Jogo, delivering nearly imperceptible punches and kicks. Satoru was even able to successfully react to and dodge attacks from a man of Toji Fushiguro's caliber. Satoru can also destroy a thousand transformed humans in five minutes. He was able to move faster than Uraume, a powerful and skilled mage, and was able to quickly kill Kenjaku if Sukuna had not intervened. During Satoru's fight with Sukuna, he proved himself to be faster than the Curse King, able to consistently outpace Sukuna in their hand-to-hand combat, repeatedly forcing him to defend himself with his speed and catching him off guard on several occasions. Satoru even kept up with Sukuna, Mahoraga, and the Chimera Beast Agito simultaneously.

Despite rarely being put into dangerous situations, Satoru has proven that he can be incredibly resilient when needed. When Toji Fushiguro stabbed him in the chest after he had just deactivated his Infinity, Satoru felt little to no pain, and thanks to the cursed energy boost, he was able to avoid further damage. Even after Satoru was stabbed in the throat and then brutally cut up, he not only survived, but was able to instead use the experience of life and death to understand the nature of the Reverse Cursed Technique and become even more powerful than ever. Years later, when Sukuna's Demon Tomb overpowered his Vast Abyss, Satoru endured countless slashing attacks from Sukuna while using the Reverse Cursed Technique at full power to instantly heal himself without showing any signs of pain, suffering no blood loss or injury, and was able to continue fighting Sukuna with great efficiency, eventually buying himself enough time to restore his cursed technique.

Excellent tactical intelligence

Satoru is highly tactical, being able to decipher an opponent's plan with minimal information. He has also demonstrated an exceptional ability to adapt to any enemy he has ever faced, knowing exactly what to do to counter their methods and finding ways to defeat them. This was best displayed during his fight against Jogo, Hanami, Choso, and Mahito, where he demonstrated his ability to devise a variety of battle strategies while fighting at incredible speeds, protecting civilians, minimizing property damage, and all the while evading the attacks of the Four Curses. When fighting Sukuna, while facing the relentless attacks of the Demon Tomb without his cursed technique, Satoru was able to calmly devise an effective plan to not only survive, but also counterattack, deflecting his guaranteed hit with his Reverse Cursed Technique and using Simple Territory to give him the opportunity to defend himself and recover his cursed technique. He also demonstrated his genius by changing the conditions of his territory to such an extent that Atsuya Kusakabe, an expert in barrier techniques, was amazed.

Immeasurable Cursed Energy

Satoru Gojo is known as the strongest mage in the world. He earned this nickname due to the vast amount of cursed energy he possesses. His cursed energy is large enough to use Territory Expansion at least five times in a single day, while most mages can only use it once. Gojo has excellent control over his cursed energy, being able to activate his territory in a split second, use a reverse cursed technique, and even combine positive and negative cursed energy. Gojo is also known to be the first person in four hundred years to possess both the Six Eyes and the Infinity Technique.

black Lightning

(黒閃 Kokusen?): This is a distortion in space that occurs when using cursed energy within 0.000001 seconds of a physical strike. If the user manages to use the cursed energy at this exact moment, their own previously expended cursed energy will glow black, and the attack's power will increase by 2.5 times. Satoru was able to use Black Lightning against Sukuna during their battle in Shinjuku, delivering a devastating blow when the Curse King least expected it. It is currently unknown how many times Gojou himself is capable of producing black lightning, but he has used it at least four times.

(無下限, Mukagen?): At its most basic level, Infinity is an innate technique that originates from the Gojo family. This technique grants its users near-absolute control over space through the manipulation of cursed energy at the atomic level, resulting in a variety of subsequent results and techniques within the overall ability. As spatial manipulation is only the basic level of the technique, Infinity has three standard forms and one "non-standard" form that goes beyond that.

(無限 Mugen?): Being the neutral form of Infinity, Infinity is commonly known as the ability to stop an attack, though this is a common misconception as Infinity's true power is to slow down actions near Gojo. When something attempts to hit Satoru, the person or object in question is instead caught in the infinity between him and itself. According to Satoru, this is the convergence of an infinite series and comes straight from the paradox of Achilles and the tortoise. Just as Achilles would never catch the tortoise due to the potential, infinite amount of finite space separating them, or how the actual number one would never touch the actual number two due to the infinite amount of fractions separating them, an opponent would never touch Satoru due to the infinity between them. Satoru can decide what touches him and what does not, and can do so based on mass, speed, and degree of danger.

(術式順転「蒼」Jutsushiki Junten・Ao?): An enhanced version of the neutral color of Limitlessness; Blue is a byproduct of Gojou that amplifies Limitless and negative energy, creating a vacuum. With them, Gojou creates a scenario where the world itself is forced to correct itself and fill the negative space, causing all matter within the given space to be drawn together.

Direct Spin Technique - Maximum Cursed Energy Release Blue

(Jutsushiki Junten Shutsuryoku Saidai・Ao?): Satoru creates a center of gravity in a specific space that is capable of attracting all matter, collapsing it effortlessly, similar to a black hole. He can also move the point of attraction at will, greatly increasing its destructive capabilities.

Reverse Spin Technique Red

(Jutsushiki Hanten・Aka?): Being the inverse of Blue, Red has the opposite effect. Using his Inverse Curse Technique to invert the properties of Blue, Satoru activates his Infinity Divergence and creates an extremely powerful repulsion force that repels all matter nearby. Being an ability that is powered by positive energy and formed as a Reverse Curse Technique, this ability has twice the destructive power of Blue.

Void Technique: Violet

(Kyoshiki Murasaki): An advanced technique that combines the forward and reverse rotation of Infinity, resulting in the creation of an imaginary mass that is launched at the target.

Reverse Cursed Technique

(反転術式 Hanten Jutsushiki?): At first, as a first and second year student at the magic school, Satoru was unable to comprehend the complex nature of the Reverse Cursed Technique, but after being on his deathbed during his first fight with Toji Fushiguro, Satoru, by touching the core of the cursed energy, was finally able to unlock the ability to not only heal himself, but also cause positive energy to flow into the Infinite, giving him access to his techniques - Red and Void Technique: Purple. Satoru has mastered the Reverse Curse Technique to the point that he has developed an unparalleled ability to constantly use the Reverse Curse Technique in his body to keep his brain fresh despite constantly using the Six Eyes and Infinity on a scale that would normally fry his brain, which also helps him heal if any attack were to penetrate his Infinity, the maximum effectiveness of his Reverse Curse Technique allows him to even survive the effects of Sukuna's Demon Tomb by healing himself just as quickly as he would from rapid-fire strikes within Sukuna's territory. Satoru's mastery of the Reverse Curse Technique personally is such that he has even learned to use the Reverse Curse Technique to restore his burnt-out Curse Technique after using Territory Expansion, something that most believed to be impossible even for the Reverse Curse Technique expert Yuuta.

(Tobari?): Gojo can create a barrier that surrounds a specific area. The barrier can be used to seal off the area from other people or a specific person wishing to enter.

Shadow Style: Simple Territory

(シン・陰流「簡易領域」Shin Kageryū: Kan'i Ryōiki?): A counter-territory expansion technique that Satoru can use to counter an attack from any territory aimed at him. Satoru normally does not need to resort to this, and Yuji did not even know he could do it until his fight with Sukuna. Unlike Yuki Tsukumo, Satoru is not suited to teach this technique to others.

Rakka no Jō (火魔法 Rakka no Jō): A secret art used as a countermeasure against territories. Gojo learned it when he was a child, but did not use it until his battle with Sukuna. Normally, this technique would neutralize territory attacks, however, due to Sukuna's massive amount of cursed energy, it only weakens the damage from Demon Tomb.

Satoru's Territory Expansion. It creates a metaphysical space that causes the victim to endlessly receive all kinds of information while restricting their thought processes and actions. In terms of brute force, Satoru's Territory is equal to Sukuna's Demon Tomb Domain, second only to Sukuna's open territory, which allowed Sukuna to destroy the Vast Abyss' barrier. Satoru's ability to expand his territory is so great that he can precisely control the range and timing of its activation to just 0.2 seconds, limiting its lasting effects on those pulled into his territory and can freely alter the conditions of the Vast Abyss' barrier. Those he comes into physical contact with are also immune to its effects.

six eyes

(六眼 Rikugan?): Not much is known about the Six Eyes, but it is known that they play a role in the precise use of Infinity. It has been stated that, like Infinity, the Six Eyes is also an Innate Technique inherited from the Gojo family. Yuta has stated that when activating the Six Eyes, Satoru can reduce his cursed energy consumption to almost zero, and as a result, he will never run out of cursed energy in battle. It is heavily implied that the Six Eyes allow the user to perceive the world in terms of mass, speed, energy, and so on along with other effects.

Students

Gojo is a teacher at the capital's technical school for magicians, his students are Nobara, Itadori and Megumi.

Megumi

Megumi is Toji's son, his mother is dead and his father was sold. Gojo found Megumi when Megumi was in first grade and Gojo was around 17 years old. Megumi has black hair that sticks out in different directions. Megumi is currently around 16 years old. Outwardly stoic and calculating, Megumi wishes to help protect people he believes to be good or kind. He believes that the world is unfair and that a magus is a tool to give good people a better chance to live. Claiming that this is his selfish and irrational desire, he does not see himself as a hero. This belief that good people deserve to be saved led him to save Yuji Itadori from immediate execution and refuse to regret the choice even when Sukuna was about to kill him. Another side of his worldview is that he is rather callous when discussing the deaths of criminals and murderers, as he believes that they do not deserve to be saved. He is also quite a secretive person, as shown when Nobara complains that Megumi hardly tells them anything about herself.

Nobara is a red-haired girl of average height with short hair and bangs covering the right side of her forehead. Nobara is a confident and daring young woman with an unwavering character. More than anything, Nobara is determined to stay true to herself no matter what. She takes great pride in being both a beautiful girl and a strong fighter, not allowing anyone to influence her.

Yuji Itadori

He is 15 years old and weighs quite a lot at 80 kg, but despite this weight he has a very slender and muscular body. A teenager with large brown eyes and light brown (light pink in the anime) hair sticking out in all directions. When Yuji became Sukuna's vessel, lines appeared under his eyes. At the beginning, Yuji wore a light yellow hoodie with a zipper and a hood, and jeans with the legs turned up. After entering the technical school, Yuji began wearing a personalized version of the school uniform:[3] a black long-sleeved jacket over a red hoodie with buttons on the left side, plus black pants. During the Shibuya incident, he gains a noticeable scar between his eyes and a smaller scar on the left labial fold of his mouth, both of which were inflicted by Mahito. In the Culling Game, Yuji lost the marks under his eyes after Sukuna transferred into Megumi Fushiguro's body as his new vessel. During his training with Choso and Noritoshi, Yuji's hands noticeably changed: the skin color became red and long claws appeared. They began to resemble Kechizu's hands. An honest guy who cares not only for those he cares about, but also for those whose views on life or moral principles he respects, even without close ties. This is because he believes in the "value of life", consciously and subconsciously striving to achieve or help achieve a "proper death", that is, an end of life that would absorb all the "value" of the life lived. Because of these beliefs, Yuji easily loses his composure in the face of unjustified cruelty and dishonesty. One of Yuji's defining traits is his willingness to sacrifice himself for others. This doesn't necessarily mean sacrificing his life, as Yuji doesn't really want to die, but his well-being is definitely something he wants to do. This is because of his grandfather's last words, telling Yuji not to live like him, alone, and to die surrounded by other people. Without his parents and having lost his grandfather, Yuji became a mage.

Ghetto Suguru

Getō is Gojou Satoru's former best friend. He is 27 years old, with his birthday being on February 3rd. Suguru Getō (夏げ油とう傑すぐる, Getō Suguru?) is an antagonist in the prequel Magical Battle 0, and a false antagonist in the main Magical Battle series. He was originally a classmate of Satoru Gojou and Shōko Ieiri, and a student of Yagi Masamichi. His experiences as a shaman gave him a deep hatred for non-shamans, leading to an incident where Suguru killed over a hundred civilians in a single night. He was expelled from the Magic College and became known as the worst of all curse masters. He was fatally wounded in a battle with Yuta Okkotsu, and was subsequently executed by Satoro Gojou on December 24, 2017. Gojo did not allow Shoko near Geto's dead body and refused to cremate it, and Geto's body was later possessed by Kenjaku, who chose him for the Manipulation of Cursed Spirits. A tall, slender man with long black hair, partly tied behind his head, with the rest flowing down his back. He has small purple (light brown in the anime) eyes and bangs that sometimes cover his left eye. His earlobes are large enough to accommodate fairly large round earrings (purple in color). In 2006, Suguru's hair was much shorter as a student. Most of his hair was tied up, but his bangs were still visible. After August 2007, when Suguru became a curse master, his hair began to grow and became the length it is in 2017. As a student, Suguru wore the standard uniform of the Magic College. When disguised as a Buddhist monk, Suguru dons the appropriate attire. Over a black yukata robe, he wears a gold-colored kashaya robe. His monk's attire is completed with white tabi socks and zori sandals.

Suguru Ghetto

Suguru Geto hated non-shamans, commonly referring to them as "monkeys". He believed that shamans were a superior race and the next stage of human evolution. He was smug and extremely condescending towards ordinary people, using fake identities to lure in vulnerable people who had been cursed. Suguru found non-shamans so disgusting that he sprayed himself to disinfect himself from the "monkey stench". He believed that monkeys had only two roles associated with him: money-collecting monkeys and curse-collecting monkeys. If they failed to fulfill their roles, Suguru would happily allow the curses to kill them without remorse. Suguru's condescending attitude towards non-shamans. In contrast, Suguru cared deeply for his fellow curse masters, calling his commanders family. Each of them still worshiped Suguru for putting shamans as a race first, and hoped that he would become the king of the shaman world. Suguru was even polite to shamans, though this was usually expressed under one of his false personas. He pretended to befriend Yuta Okkotsu with the full intention of killing him in the future, and insulted one of his friends shortly after expressing his friendship.

Gojo's character (additional)

Gojo would never raise his hand against a defenseless girl, especially his wife or if he is in a relationship with her, he would respect and love his other half. Gojo would never be offended by any teasing of his other half. Gojo is very careful and loving towards his other half, he would never force her to do something against her will. Gojo would never rape a girl or something like that, because he treats it very badly. Gojo will always support his other half in any idea, even this idea is the craziest!

Gojo and sweets

Gojo started eating sweets to strengthen his strength and brain...but because of this he became a terrible sweet tooth

Gojo is very respectful towards girls, he probably doesn't have a particular type in girls, and if he does... he's unlikely to ever tell anyone his type of girl
