Azulin was born as Gordi's younger twin brother. While Gordi was nice though clumsy, Azulin was mean and driven by envy that his mother had always preferred Gordi compared to him. One day, Azulin discovered that his mother had planned to leave his father for another bear. In a fit of rage, Azulin poisoned his mother's lemonade, which made her sick until she died, something Azulin deeply regretted having committed. In the present, Azulin and Gordi join a military troop led by Drill Sergeant Ironstroke, where bears were trained to fight the unicorns that had driven the bears out of the forest. Azulin's arrogance causes the other members of the troop to dislike him, and the only one who shows support for him is Gordi. This escalated until Azulin attacked Achuchones, who made fun of the makeup he uses to hide the wrinkles around his eyes, only for Coco to stop him. Azulin ran off into a field where he screamed that no one understood him. A priest appeared to comfort him with a religious book. The book told Azulin that when a bear drank the blood of the last unicorn killed, he would become a "chosen one" and a god-like figure would return to the forest. Azulin becomes determined to become the troop's top recruit to prove that he is the chosen one. However, Coco outdoes him in all of his daily activities, impressing Ironstroke into promoting him to recruit leader, much to Azulin's chagrin. Later, Ironstroke sends his troops into the woods to find a missing squad. After several nights of hiking, the troop encounters several fireflies and ignores the priest's warnings and gives in to their hunger. The fireflies turn out to be hallucinogenic, which costs the Cuddly-Wuggly twins their lives when one mistakes the other for a monster and kills it before hanging himself.

Appearance

Azulin is a human with bear ears, turquoise hair, and cyan eyes. His snout and the inside of his ears are white, and he wears a white sleeveless shirt and dark purple pants and boots.

personality

Azulin is a vain and arrogant bear, who sees himself as the rightful chosen one despite his numerous flaws. As the film progresses, Azulin's sanity becomes more unhinged, to the point of killing and eating Coco out of petty envy. After his near-death in the forest, Azulin decides to just eliminate him entirely as a way to wipe out the unicorns, and ends up murdering his brother for trying to help the only surviving unicorn (his personality: arrogant, obnoxious, a piece of work towards other bears). Despite all of this, Azulin is shown to care for his parents, showing regret for poisoning his mother, and crying immensely at her funeral.
