Calico Jack

Appearance

Jack is a middle-aged white man. His clothes are more typical of a cowboy than a pirate. He has a big mustache. His left arm is covered with burn scars.

Personality

Calico Jack is a noisy and unpleasant drunk, he is almost always seen with a bottle in his hand. He almost constantly exhibits very immature behavior. His favorite pastimes seem to be games such as whippies (hitting objects and people with a whip), yardies (jumping from a yard into the sea), turtle vs. crab (in which both participants eventually die) and coconut wars (pelting people with coconuts). He is rude and likes to tease Stede for his "tenderness" and aristocratic background.

Life history

Calico Jack first met Blackbeard in Captain Hornigold's team. Obviously, he beat them up a lot, and Ed would later say that they were treated "worse than dogs." Since then, Jack has got his own team and supposedly became the captain, but they rebelled against him. He met Israel "Izzy" Hands after the events of The Art of Fuckery, when Izzy lost a duel to Stead Bonnet and was forced to leave Revenge. Together with the British, they drew up a plan to rid Blackbeard of Stead Bonnet, and soon Calico Jack was on his way to Revenge to put this plan into execution. He successfully managed to split the relationship between Stede and Blackbeard (albeit temporarily) by killing Carl's Seagull, and he left Revenge to Blackbeard, while Stede's team was captured by the British. Calico Jack met his end when English's "Revenge" warning shot accidentally hit him while he was in the boat (fortunately, Edward sailed back before he hit the target).
