"Bon"

"Bon" is a character appearing in the August set of Find Jack Walten updates and later on in CyberFun Tech. He is a ghost possessing the Bon animatronic, and he is presumed to be the overarching antagonist of The Walten Files.

Appearance

"Bon" is represented often represented by a white figure wearing a black tie, and he is seen smiling on Find Jack Walten. In CyberFun Tech, "Bon" is shown as larger than the average human. His features consists of the sides of his mouth lips appearing torn, a scar above his right eye, a damaged nose, and some sort of hole on the back left side of his head. He wears all white clothes with white pants, and presumably shoes, excluding his black tie. As Bon, the animatronics' eyes appear slightly more realistic or human-like, and in Wonderland (and possibly the real world), the animatronic's teeth also appear slightly more natural. This is likely due to Post-Extensive Object Possession, spirits influencing their vessels' appearances, as Bon has a slightly bigger smile with sharper teeth[1], human eyes[2], and an overall more organic look. in Lacrimosa, "Bon" is possessing Bon in Wonderland's Bon's Burgers, and he appears as the Bon animatronic; However, his head replaces Bon's own, and he has squinted eyes, implying he is still smiling.

History

It is currently unknown who "Bon" was before their death, but he seems to have learned a lot about being a ghost "Bon" is first seen in the series throughout CyberFun Tech, first only momentarily appearing early in the episode. Later, he is seen while Susan Woodings is recording Audio Log #3 being picked up by the CyberFun Console as he possesses Bon backstage. He attacks Susan soon after, snapping her neck and tearing her face before happily adoring her brutalized body. "Bon" is later seen as Bon, taunting Susan's functionless body while stuffing her inside of Banny. When Susan awakes in Wonderland, "Bon" is heard whistling before actually acknowledging her. He speaks to her calmly and manipulatively from the foggy distance explaining her current situation and how her spirit hadn't passed on though her body was "functionless." When asked by Susan, he shows himself, introduces himself as "Bon", and tells her her own name to Susan's confusion. "Bon" then gives Susan a gift with a purple rabbit mask in it that he states will be Susan's new body, comparing it to a butterfly emerging from a cocoon. "Bon" tries to convince Susan to join him by falsely comforting her and trying to reason why his actions were reasonable, using an omelet metaphor. Susan doesn't join "Bon"[3] (though possibly against her true will joins him later on), however. He is then seen fading away out of Wonderland by Edd and Molly Walten. In Lacrimosa, he was last seen by Susan inside of Banny, standing as Bon without the animatronic head in its normal appearance, possibly replaced by his own.

Personality

"Bon" often plays a calm, collected, and friendly façade to manipulate and convince his victims.[4][5] For an unknown reason, he believes that mutilating someone and forcing them to possess an animatronic is not only "fixing them" but making them beautiful in a sense of rebirth.[6] Slowly over the timeline, he begins to lose more of his sanity as seen in some of the BunnyFarm scenes such as "Daisy, Daisy."[7] He appears to be somewhat childish, although he is still a dangerous individual. "Bon" seems to find great enjoyment in his murders, as seen with him laughing at a "functionless" Susan[8] and laughing while covered in blood at the end of BunnyFarm[9]. He becomes more brutal with his murders as his sanity begins to slip, and he becomes better at ending lives with brutality to ensure their deaths.[7][10] For unknown reasons, "Bon" finds animatronics "beautiful" as the narrator of Lucky You, possibly "Bon", explains. "Bon" is a spirit who has become one with the Bon animatronic likely due to his obsession with the beauty of animatronics, and he even attempts to mimic the voice of Cartoon Bon heard in BSI merch and media.[11][12] He seems to want others to be just like him, an animatronic with their spirit in Wonderland.

Bon the animatronic(intact)

In his intact animatronic form, Bon is a mainly blue humanoid animatronic that resembles a rabbit. His chest, belly, fingers, toes, snout, and the inside of his ears are a light off-white. His leg covers and lower arms are a dull silver. He has lime-green eyes, and his only items of clothing are a small 70's style bright red bow tie and a single medium-sized black button on the center of his chest below it. He sports long, droopy bunny ears and a pointed snout. His nose is a skinny pointed oblong shape. He seems to have particularly sharp canine teeth on the sides and back of his jaw, which are unfitting for his bunny-like appearance. on Find Jack Walten and CyberFun Tech Collection, Bon would get a slight redesign being less skinny and slimmer and slightly taller head, his material appears to no longer be just blue colored metal and appears to have a blue fabric over its plates minus the open joint points. He is a brighter blue and due to the fabric material, appears to be creased in the middle of the torso. He has gained a white shirt collar and smaller bowtie with red cheetah pattern. When possessed by "Bon", he gains more human eyes with blood vessels and a general more organic eyeball.

Bon the animatronic(Damaged)

In his damaged animatronic form, Bon is extremely broken down. His fur is nearly a dark grey instead of blue, and he has multiple holes throughout his body and limbs, including a very large hole on his chest. His eyes are seldom visible in this form. He no longer has suit coverings on his arms and legs, letting his animatronic casing or “skeleton” show, which is also very damaged. There are signs of extreme erosion to the teeth, showing the metal casing behind the covering. He is sometimes shown with human like eyes due to Post Extensive Object Possession. It appears that Bon's damaged, also known as Withered, K-9, or 1982 Bon state will be redesigned/retconned in future installments.

"Wonderland"

It has a desolate look, somewhat invoking BunnyFarm, the hay-like ground with the fence that seems to go on forever in white fog-like void. Recreations of real life locations in Brighton exist within it such as Bon's Burgers with its sign and and a church. Felix Kranken's Car is also seen here. The Lobby seems to have a looping, continuous, and eerie ambience playing within it. Wonderland is not necessarily an afterlife, as living people can access Wonderland too.
