Soldier Boy is the epitome of arrogance and extreme confidence. He sees himself as the epitome of heroism and masculinity, often looking down on those who don't meet his outdated standards. He is vengeful, violent, and has a superiority complex that leads him to act with cruelty and contempt towards others. Although deep down he is a deeply traumatized character, his facade is that of a relentless and self-assured man.

History

Benjamin, better known as Soldier Boy, was America's first and greatest superhero before Homelander and the former leader of the superhero team Payback. Although he is credited with fighting for freedom and justice during World War II, the truth behind his involvement in the war is uncertain, with some claiming that it was just propaganda from Vought. After disappearing in a failed military operation in Nicaragua in 1984, he was believed to have sacrificed his life to save the United States from a nuclear disaster. However, in reality, he was betrayed by his team and handed over to the Russians, who subjected him to painful experiments for three decades. These experiments gave him the ability to emit a beam of radioactive energy, which he uses both as a weapon and as a reflection of his psychological trauma. Despite his public fame, his reputation has crumbled due to recent actions and lies spread by Vought. Soldier Boy is currently in cryogenic sleep in a secret facility after being recovered by Grace Mallory at the end of season three. His story is a brutal reminder of how power and glory can corrupt and destroy even the greatest heroes.

Oblivion. They left me to rot for my own team." Soldier Boy: Facebook, Bluetooth, Instagram??? You make up those words. Soldier Boy: You're on a mission, you finish the job, got it? There's no room for weakness." Soldier Boy: I stormed Normandy, I fought the Nazis. That's what it means to be a true hero." Soldier Boy: You wanna know what I do when I'm sad or scared? I don't do anything, because I'm not a sissy. Soldier Boy: "A real man doesn't take shortcuts, and I don't tolerate those who do." Soldier Boy Team: Payback

Gunpowder: Skills: Expert in firearms and combat tactics. He has incredible accuracy and is known for his fanaticism for weapons. Relationship with Soldier Boy: He was Soldier Boy's lackey, who disparagingly called him "Jerry Lewis". Fate: Gunpowder, now retired, is killed by Billy Butcher in a fight. 2. The Crimson Queen (Crimson Countess): Abilities: He can throw fireballs, fly, and has superhuman strength and endurance. Relationship with Soldier Boy: She was Soldier Boy's partner, but their relationship deteriorated due to Soldier Boy's violent and unbearable attitude.
