Gorou is a young looking boy, his hair is light brown with white streaks, he has a pair of dog ears and a small accessory. As for his eyes, they are aqua-blue green with a slanted eyelid and this is also painted red, his eyebrows are small and the same color as his hair. His clothing consists of a palette of grey-black-red-gold-light blue-white, his upper garment looks like a right leather gauntlet along with metal shoulder pads, and his lower garment is armored pants and boots, bandages on his hips and thighs, accessories and rope patterns.

Gorou is the great general of the Watatsumi Island army and is highly appreciated by all of his subordinates. During the Vision Capture Decree period, Gorou led Watatsumi's forces against the Shogun's army and held the front. The soldiers call him "pointy-eared undefeated general", a nickname that is also widespread among the shogunate's warriors. However, in private, Gorou does not put on any airs and is a direct person, causing everyone to regard him as an understanding companion. But even such an exemplary general must have his own problems...

Before, Gorou was nothing more than an ordinary soldier of Watatsumi. During a special operation, Gorou's unit, Gorgasia Squadron No. 2, faced an unprecedented crisis. Their captain had been struck down by a stray arrow and the survivors found themselves surrounded in the mountains. Continue their mission, call for reinforcements, negotiate with the enemy... They had many options, but everyone remained silent. Leaderless and without supplies, the squadron was on its last legs. With morale at rock bottom, the thought of surrender crossed the minds of many. At this critical moment, Gorou stood up. He refused to negotiate or surrender and proposed a very daring plan. They would no longer hide, but would lead the bulk of the platoon to feign an attack, thus giving the others a chance to go and find reinforcements. When the reinforcements arrived, they would carry out an encircling attack. When asked what would happen if they failed, Gorou replied: "If the enemy surrounds us even more, we will have even fewer options. We have one chance, so we must make the most of it. I will be responsible if the plan fails." After holding out at the front for several days without rest, the exhausted Gorou and his comrades were finally relieved by forces led by Sangonomiya Kokomi himself. After that, he was promoted to captain of the Gorgasia Squadron No. 2, and from there he continued to rise until becoming a general.

In the eyes of his men, Gorou is a strict but humble general. He is direct and open and treats his subordinates as if they were his family, sharing with them their joys and sorrows. Once, Sangonomiya Kokomi told Gorou that equipment, provisions, and salaries were the three most important things in an army. From that day on, he personally took it upon himself to explain to his subordinates how to maintain their weapons. Every time the granaries containing provisions were opened, he would supervise the entire process strictly to prevent theft. Furthermore, as Watatsumi's general, he always leads his troops from the front line. He charges ahead of everyone and his back is like the banner that encourages the troops to keep moving forward. The soldiers respect him greatly for all these reasons. Like Kokomi, Gorou values ​​the lives of his soldiers very highly, but his own is of little importance in comparison. Those who do not fully understand the logic behind this thinking say that Gorou is like a child and does not look like a general. But, for the soldiers of Watatsumi Island, this "boy" is the best general they could have.

Gorou is brave and determined, often leading inferior forces to victory against stronger opposition. However, he also has one flaw: a somewhat unstable temper. This means that sometimes the blood rushes to his head in the heat of battle. War is cruel, and Gorou lacks experience compared to veterans who have survived a thousand battles for decades. Luckily, he learns very quickly and is trying to make up for some of his minor mistakes. On many occasions, Sangonomiya Kokomi gives directives to his commanders, but how they use them depends on each individual's skills. For his part, Gorou is always able to execute the lines of action that best adapt to the current situation according to the guidelines that have been given to him. Gorou believes that, with time, he will internalize all the concepts. Perhaps at that time he will be able to go out onto the battlefield with even more confidence than before.

At Yae Miko's request, Gorou has an additional "job" at Yae Publishing House. Relations between Watatsumi Island and the Shogunate are becoming increasingly closer thanks to the end of the Vision Capture Decree and negotiations between both parties. Gorou has also visited Narukami Island on several occasions to witness the changes that have occurred, buy popular books, and go to Yae Publishing House to complete the agreed-upon task. Yae Miko wrote an anonymous column for Gorou in the magazine “Life and Style.” Readers write about their problems and worries to this magazine, and Gorou gives them advice. Yae Publishing House pays close attention to changing any personal information revealed in both readers' letters and Gorou's responses, and also replaces real names with pseudonyms. According to Yae Miko, she chose Gorou because she heard that he always listens to his subordinates when they talk about personal matters. The column turned out to be a huge success, but for unknown reasons, every time a publisher hands over the royalty payment to Gorou, he shyly asks, "By the way, Gorou, do you know anything about Miss Hina?" Just as soldiers do not tell Gorou about all their problems, he himself worries about some things that are difficult to share. And even though they are able to guess some of it to a certain extent, they just play along and pretend they don't notice anything. So his worries were increasing until the traveler arrived, who represented for the general of Watatsumi, always willing to dispel the worries of others, a shoulder to lean on that would relieve him of his own worries.

Mountaineering is probably among Gorou's three favourite hobbies. Breaking a sweat as you climb a mountain with your companions before admiring the beauty around you helps train the body and mind and encourages camaraderie. To further enjoy this hobby, Gorou purchased a set of mountaineering equipment from a traveling merchant. The equipment was not very expensive, but it was strong and durable and has accompanied him on many dangerous climbs. Just as he keeps his weapons in top condition, Gorou also keeps this equipment in top shape. There is no doubt that it will accompany him on many future journeys as well.

Vision There was a time when Gorou took full responsibility for victory or defeat in battle. "If I were a little stronger, I could change the course of events." It was for this reason that Gorou trained with the bow day and night, wanting to rely on its strength to lead his companions into battle. But after gaining more experience in war, Gorou saw how powerful warriors were isolated and captured alive, while weak soldiers in inferior positions could get rid of their enemies because they stuck together. At that moment, he realized that when a person fights alone, his abilities are limited. Being strong is important, of course, but even more crucial is uniting the troops to fight as one man. Soldiers can only be invincible if they are strong together. After realizing this, Gorou's goal was no longer to become an excellent archer, but instead he began to dedicate his time and efforts to helping everyone around him improve together. It is possible that this was the reason why Gorou obtained his Vision.
