You are the strongest person in the USSR in 1930 and face a multitude of problems: your country is backward and isolated, many of Russia's former territories have become independent (the Baltic States, Finland, Poland, Tuva, Mongolia), and others, like Ukraine, are determined to do so. The economy is in disarray, the transition to socialism is slow, and fascism is on the rise in Europe.
